Use a bola and shoot it with atleast 2 tranqs. Be sure to space out your shots so you don’t kill it or hit it an extra time. :) Always go for high levels. Low levels are garbage.

Use trag arrows to shoot down the pteranodon then use soothing blam and use 4 raw meat then you get him/her

These things can be way helpful for gathering wyvern eggs! Just get it to level 150+ putting all points into stamina/weight. Find where the wyvern eggs spawn and fly next to one and take it. But let the Ptera regain stamina first. Then fly out and kite any wyvern following between some trees and fly away with your prize!

When your taming, check the stats by putting them in your dodex comparison calculator. If you have a stat that is above average, try putting a note in that bird with its level and stats so that you can keep track of what your breeding your birds with.

If you see one flying, just follow it untill it lands, walk at it and shoot it in the head with crossbow (narcotic arrows). He will be down with one shot.

Pteranodon are a very useful flying mount when you start the game. But before you get one of these babies, tame a trike and a ton of dodos. You are going to need kibble to tame and you need rockarrots. Use a crossbow with narcs to knock out

They are okay now just watch out for stam you are not invincible

Best way to tame these is to bola them then use about a tranq arrow or two to its head which should knock it out

I suggest to find a lvl 20 or higher for new players because you need high weight so it can carry you till you get an argy.Also if you can't craft bolas yet or you didn't learn the engram just shoot it in the head with a bow a crossbow will kill it be sure to use meat because this is a carnivore I lost a lvl 150 argy that way
