Just tamed my first pteranodon and thought I would come here to see what this said about the taming and brought double what it said I needed and only ended up using (lvl15 it recommended 55) 38 narcotics.....

Get a bola and use it and when you use it you will have trapped it's legs so they won't escape

Use prime meat and this thing is perfect for giga trappin

LVL SIXTEEN NO PROBLEMO JUST LEVELING YOURSELF UP AND GET NARCOTIC GET 9 OF THOSE THEN CRAFT A EBOLA AND CLUB AND ALL MEAT

Barrel rolls are so useful, but they drain stamina very quickly. Make sure to keep an eye on the stamina bar if you want to spam it.

These are the first flyer u will have on ark and here some tips to tame it

1-find one

2-bola it

3-hit it's head with a club till it get KO'd

4-give it meat

5- if u have trouble with it being unconscious feed it narcotics

And BOOOOOOOOM U HAVE A PTERANDON

Apparently If you are in Ark Mobile, Just go straight for Medium Difficulty even though you have no experience.

Taming them in Easy Difficulty is Absolutely useless although great for travels, It can’t carry much weight. And as we all know Heavier Weight = Slower so even you have max speed pteranodon It won’t be useful for much long.

Man just go to Medium Difficulty then Tame an level 110, It should have enough decent stat to carry you till mid-game— many pros still use this as an traveling method due to the fact that even if you had an argy it would be pretty slow.

Use bola to knock out

Feed pteranodon Regular Kibble, Dodo Kibble, Raw Mutton, Raw Prime Meat, Cooked Lamb Chop, Cooked Prime Meat, Raw Prime Fish Meat, Raw Meat, Cooked Prime Fish Meat, Cooked Meat, Raw Fish Meat, and Cooked Fish Meat.

1 get bola

2 wooden club - tranq arrows

3 bow crosbow

4 easy to tame

5 when you tame one you need narcotic

Really fast but only picks up small creatures and it cant hold a lot of weight

-first craft bola

-craft 10 narcotis

-find pteradon

-bola pteradon

-hock out pteradon

-feed it 50 meet

-and drug it when is low on unconcisnes

-enjoy new pteradon- Works on any level

If you tame one of these deffinetly check its weight stat.low level ones have amazingly low weight and because of that it may not even carry you if you only jave simple tools ob the inventory

Upgrade that Stamina a lot your gonna need it also this bird is op with a golden collar

This is for me but right now I just lost 2 pteranodons because one is a guy and 1 is a girl and they just flew away together

Incase you're wondering what I lost I lost 2 saddles (I play on single player I die alot cause I'm pretty noobie) about 100 metal and a couple other things (they might come back but still wtd.

Bola it, club it, feed it, keep it knocked out by feed ing it bio toxin

Use a bola,use trank arrows on crossbow,upgrade weight and stamina.

Find your target get atleast 2 bolas and throw it at him on land not water make sure you have tranq arrow or if you get lucky you can knock it out with your fists and throw fish meat prime fish meat any meat will work kibble too keep narcotics with you just Incase or narcoberries to keep it knocked out

When you tame a Pteranodon, don't plan on using it to fly to mountains or volcanos for metal. Tame an Argy for that. Argy's reduce the weight of metal ore and ingots. Their saddle can also be used as a portable smithy. Use Pteranodons as travel or war birds.

Once I was flying with my lvl 30 pteranodon then I saw my first titani I didn’t know that. I didn’t know it was that deadly so I gave it my a hit to provoke it and suddenly it gave my pteranodon one strike so it died and then I wanted revenge so it went ahead to hit it then it strike me to my grave
