So a few days ago I did some testing to see what the base damage of the pteranodon barrel roll is on mobile. Dododex says 36 but I found out that it is actually 50. Here’s the base damage of some other creatures for comparison btw: Rex (62), Bronto (60), Spino slap (60), therizino (50), dire bear (50), sarco death roll (45), and spino bite (40). So yeah the pteranodon’s barrel roll has comparable damage to some of the bigger creatures on the island in mobile. So I bred my pteranodons to get a perfect imprinted one. After a lot of tries I finally got one and I just killed a wild giga with it by repeatedly barrel rolling into the giga’s tail and flying upwards before it can bite.

All you need is a bow and bow lol

If you decied to fight one make sure you go in to the tress its harder for them to get in the trees

Make sure you bring loads of narcs- I tried to tame a lvl 145 but she woke up and I had to restart the taming process.

To tame I have found it way easier to use the bola first of course but a club to knock them out. This is not only easier but faster as well.

Tame one early in although their weight and damage isn’t great to have a speedy flyer is amazing

Step 1: Bola it

Step 2 :Knock it out(I use my fist)

Step 3 : Give it some meat. Prime is faster but you can just use normal meat

Step 4 : Give it some narcotics, especially if you only used normal meat

After that you're done, but you level up its stamina when you get it.

These are great early to late mid game tames, they are amazingly fast for how easy they are to find and tame!

Go on ragnarok and search for Huge level and find an ovis it tame realy fast and be realy good

I tamed my first one with normal raw meat

Wait till it lands. Bola it and then hit it with narcotic arrows. Aim at the head. Only 4 or 5 hits and it's down. Just remember to get some narcotics with u. Its torpor decreases fast. Use kibble or prime meat. U can use raw meat too

To Knock Out A Pteranodon ( If You're A Low Lvl And Just Starting Out ) Use Bolas I Recommend Crafting 2 And You'll Need A Club Throw The Bola At The Pteranodon ( Make Sure He's On The Ground Not On The Air ) Then Use The Club To Knock It Out ( Go For The Head ) Now You'll Need Some Meat About 20-40 Just To Be Sure And Some Narco Berries Go Get As Much As You Can Maybe About 30-70 ( If You Have Narcotics You'll Need 10-20 If You're Taming A Low Lvl One ) Now I Recommend Not Giving It The Food Just Yet Wait For It To Get Hungry If You're Inpatient You Can Give The Food But Itll Take A While To Tame It but If You Make It Hungry And Give The Food The Taming Process Will Decrease And It Will Take A Lot Quick( If You Want A Faster Taming Method You Can Craft Some Kibble You Can Find How To Make Kibble By Checking What Kibble A Dino Wants ) To Know What Kibble The Pteranodon Wants You Can Find It From The Pteranodons Information

The Argentavis can carry the pteranodon, but only when it's sitting down (on Mobile at least, I haven't tested it on PC yet)

Work with a two man team when taming 150. One person to bola and one person to tranq it. Who ever plans on taming has to be the one tranq it. Good war bird if you put points into melee health and stamina don't put to many points into speed or it will be to fast and uncontrollable good luck

He Needs a lot of time tò tame so bring a lot of biotoxines and stay with him (if you feed normal meat)

Only useful if you have a saddle, which you can craft at level 38. DO NOT TAME BEFORE THEN.
