To tame I have found it way easier to use the bola first of course but a club to knock them out. This is not only easier but faster as well.

Tame one early in although their weight and damage isn’t great to have a speedy flyer is amazing

Step 1: Bola it

Step 2 :Knock it out(I use my fist)

Step 3 : Give it some meat. Prime is faster but you can just use normal meat

Step 4 : Give it some narcotics, especially if you only used normal meat

After that you're done, but you level up its stamina when you get it.

These are great early to late mid game tames, they are amazingly fast for how easy they are to find and tame!

My Pteradon Charles is lvl 48 and he is amazing,lvl up stamina,health,weight and damage. Charles can kill trikes without getting hit and is my favourite dinosaur

If you want to take 2 of these bad boys get 4 dodo kibble cause I was taking my second pteranadon and I was giving it kibble and it ate kibble and its taking went up to 90.3 and btw I tamed it and I now have a pteranadon named ptera and another pteranodon named pter8sa and the ps are silent

If you tamed a pt and you don’t have a place to keep it safe you can fly in the sky very high up and you jump you will die but it's safe and if you want it back you can craft a bad and request it from your profile menu .

To Knock Out A Pteranodon ( If You're A Low Lvl And Just Starting Out ) Use Bolas I Recommend Crafting 2 And You'll Need A Club Throw The Bola At The Pteranodon ( Make Sure He's On The Ground Not On The Air ) Then Use The Club To Knock It Out ( Go For The Head ) Now You'll Need Some Meat About 20-40 Just To Be Sure And Some Narco Berries Go Get As Much As You Can Maybe About 30-70 ( If You Have Narcotics You'll Need 10-20 If You're Taming A Low Lvl One ) Now I Recommend Not Giving It The Food Just Yet Wait For It To Get Hungry If You're Inpatient You Can Give The Food But Itll Take A While To Tame It but If You Make It Hungry And Give The Food The Taming Process Will Decrease And It Will Take A Lot Quick( If You Want A Faster Taming Method You Can Craft Some Kibble You Can Find How To Make Kibble By Checking What Kibble A Dino Wants ) To Know What Kibble The Pteranodon Wants You Can Find It From The Pteranodons Information

The Argentavis can carry the pteranodon, but only when it's sitting down (on Mobile at least, I haven't tested it on PC yet)

The first flyer. It doesn't have any special abilities like other flyers and can only carry small creatures, plus it can't carry much weight. I would advise having two of them, one of them as a backup. Don't fly until you have two!

Use these to go to herbivore island if not use a raft to get there and take a pteranodon there cause they are all over herbivore island

On a lvl 28 it takes 3 kibble to tame it fully, only went up to about 96% with 2 kibble then I had to scavenge for some meat but by the time I got the meat, the bird had woken up. Solid waste of time and resources.

A dodo has More stamina than a low lvl and rivals a high lvls stam. Need I say more?

For a level 10 use 1 dodo kibble and it will be tamed in 4 minutes on mobile

Heyyy. So basically get 2-10 bola’s (depends on the level of the dino) then get some tranq arrows and hit him or her in the head until unconscious. GET NARCOTICS! They are unconscious for a small amount of time to bring 10 drugs. Also bring raw meat or dodo kibble and wait.

Challenge:

With a bow loaded with tranquilizer arrows, shoot one of these guys just before it lands. As it gets startled and attempts to flee, shoot it on the back. It should fall asleep about instantly without the use of a bola.
