I recommend taming dodos and make kibble taming PTEs are easy and cheap if u will work for the kibble

When leveled up, these guys are extremely helpful. I had a level 45 with 1000 health and I could take down rexes by just dive bombing them over and over.

For high levels, bola it so that it doesn't get away. After that just tranq it and feed it raw meat and you have your very own flap flap.

Tame on Ragnarok during Evolution event, use an Equus to get Narcoberries for the Tranq Arrows, get at least 10, find a Ptera, bola it and knock it out, and then find an Ovis and harvest the Mutton and place it in a herbivore to preserve it, or you can get kibble with a dodo farm because of the Rockarrot, so then come back to it, and it should be waking up, let it wake up, and then re-knock it out with a bola and tranqs, place in your food and then you have a Pteranodon that won’t die in 1 hit and won’t have to land every second. Punch the frikin crap out of it.

Get a back-up pteranodon in case you are lagged off of the server leaving your bird stranded mid-flight. its now an easy rescue.

If you just got to lvl 38, tame a low level pt or the first one you find. Get some bola’s like 8-10 incase any predators come to hunt you or eat you’re knocked tame. Feed it some meat. Use this Pt to look for a higher level pt(250-300) depends on you’re server settings.

So barrel roll is basically low bought version of dive bomb

Easy tame

1) Get a bola or 3 and a club, spyglass optional

2) find a good level one

3) Bola and smack with club, low chance of death feed raw meat

Decent dino for early game unridden it can sometimes kill a trike but easily dies to stegos

I took my pteranodon to the three obelisks and I almost died

But one day when I went to do the middle chamber quest I was goofing off with my pteranodon and I shot an Argeventis at the mountain but when I landed my pteranodon started flying crazy and flew off the mountain leaving me and I accidentally died by sliding down the mountain

I don’t know if my flying pal still survived...

If I find out he is alive I will be overjoyed!

I don’t know if it’s just me but if I try feed him narcoberries while unconscious it will say he’s already consuming that food and it’s really annoying because I can’t get his torpor back up. Plz help me out. I have a Argie if I can’t tame another ptera but I need to get lvl 62 for a saddle I’m only level 50 but my other ptera died to a damn therizionosauraus so help me plz

I was taming one and i wasn't watching one on of those posin things killed it and my other dino

They are not good at weight,but they are amazing at speed and melee.i would recommend an argentavis.but if your early game these are good for pvp.

You can tame a pteranodon by give it 2 dodo kibble and some raw meat.
