On Ark mobile dont jump in the middle area of their wing while taming because you will get stuck and die due to compresion. I've actualy done that way too many times.

Takes a awhile to eat sometimes but overall easy

1 to 3 narc arrows with a crossbow to the head you can get any level pt up to 150

Dont settle for a low level, its not worth it. Find a high level, tame it with meat, prime if you have access to it.

After that, dont tame anymore until you have dodo kibble, unless the first one dies

Then, once you have good stats, i recomend breeding in and mutating at least the good stam and weight

And boom you will rule the ark. Til you get eaten by a giga

When you first tame one you probably can’t make a saddle because you need to be 38 or have a blueprint. So when you are leveling up my advice is to level up its stamina because it gets tired very easily.

Dude, I hate when when I am about to tame a high level pteranodon, and while I’m waiting for it to starve, a terror bird just comes out of nowhere and starts killing it, and when I’m trying to kill it I end up killing the pteranodon 😭, because i haven’t put food in its inventory, and guys don’t kill nothing that is near it if you haven’t put food inside of its inventory, you are just going to end up killing your creature instead ☹️.

When you encounter this flyer it wont hurt you it will just run. If it fly's over the water don't chase it

When you spot one wait for it to fly to the ground, then use a bola and attack it until it falls unconscious. You then want to give it some meat and maybe some narcotics if the health is too low and it is going conscious. Then, get a pteranodon saddle and fly it!

Pretty easy to tame with some Dodo Kibble if you’re patient!

Use a tranq arrow and then before it wakes up feed it a narcotic

Shooting the back of the pteranodon’s head will almost knock it out instantly.

You can’t shoot or fire on a Pteranodon when your flying or on the ground.

If possible tame on herbi island. The pteradons are every where here, herbi island is also safe from all carnivores.your only worry when taking will be players

In my first days of ark,i used to tame dilos on my single player world.I didnt know how to tame the Pteras,and i was a noob.Then i became a pvp player after more research in to the game.I started up with a small tribe on the xbox 1 and we tamed up dodos for kibble,tamed us some decent 120s.This helped us when we were struggling to find beaver damns.We also discovered that they are very easy to breed and raise.

Do not underestimate bc these are powerful. I went to collect cementing paste from beaver dams when a therizino came out of nowhere and attacked my ptera. I shot 2 bullets with a longneck and ran out of ammo. I thought I would lose my ptera but it killed the theri. Breed and train them right and you get powerhouses

It is a very easy tame

First grab a bola

Find a ptradon

Bola it

Club it (still it becomes unconscious)

At least get 5 narcotic or 3 bio toxin or soothing balm

Feed it meat or prime meat

Your ptradon is tamed!!

I had a lvl 40 ptradon it does tremendous damage and if you got its saddel you can use it for travelling and a important thing first upgrade it's stamina and its weight capacity.

<>after you done that knock it out with fist or wooden club

<>after it is unconscious you give it meat or fish (I recommend giving it a soothing balm to make the taming faster)

<>after waiting BOOM 🤯 you have a pteranodon

Pteranodon Taming Tip ——— I’d recommend to get one over level 50, but any is fine. All you need is a bola, tranq arrows, slingshot or a club, and then you use whichever tool you have to knock it out, and put food in the inventory. NOTE (If you get one above around 75 sometimes it will take a little while to tame, so you might want to use soothing balm for it.) And boom, now you have a pteranodon!

How to tame pteranodon easy: 1. Craft a toxic arrow 2. Craft a bow 3. Put it on the bow 4. Find a pteranodon 5. Shoot it 6. Tame it with any berry 7. Run out of there quickly cause whatever your pteranodon level is, That doesn’t meant it’s basically invincible. It always could get killed. Especially in easy mode. 8. Test its skills. 9.
