When the pteranodon is knocked out bring LOTS of narcotics and if you run out use bio toxin narcoberrys do jack also you know bring extra food for it and a saddle if you can

If your just starting out and want a flyer bola it then club it

Most useful dino in PVE. We have a wide base with rivers, hille and towers. We don‘t use our feet, we always use our personal Pteranodons. Tame the best guys with kibble, breed new ones and level weight. You can reach 450+ weight with 1700 HP and 300+ damage as basic values giving you an alround friend who you‘ll never leave alone any more. My favourite dino for sure.

Tame a lower level Pteradon so it tamed faster make sure it's near tall rocks so it flys into the rocks you need lots of narcotics too.

by far its the fastest flyer i have seen tame one high lvl put points in speed and max the speed,u can literally travel from one end to other end of map in less tgan 30 secs use collor on it for grater results

Please make sure you lvl up their stamina!! i have a lvl 208 and he has 1450 stamina and a barrel roll still takes 1/3 of his stamina. my prefs are health, stamina, and melee!

If you get too close to water while riding a pteranodon, you will dismount. I have died several times because of this lol

On Ark mobile dont jump in the middle area of their wing while taming because you will get stuck and die due to compresion. I've actualy done that way too many times.

Bola and sling shot it to knock it out

Give dodo egg kibble

Knock out with to knockout arrows to the head

I just tamed my first flyer today.

Takes a awhile to eat sometimes but overall easy

1 to 3 narc arrows with a crossbow to the head you can get any level pt up to 150

Dont settle for a low level, its not worth it. Find a high level, tame it with meat, prime if you have access to it.

After that, dont tame anymore until you have dodo kibble, unless the first one dies

Then, once you have good stats, i recomend breeding in and mutating at least the good stam and weight

And boom you will rule the ark. Til you get eaten by a giga

When you first tame one you probably can’t make a saddle because you need to be 38 or have a blueprint. So when you are leveling up my advice is to level up its stamina because it gets tired very easily.

Dude, I hate when when I am about to tame a high level pteranodon, and while I’m waiting for it to starve, a terror bird just comes out of nowhere and starts killing it, and when I’m trying to kill it I end up killing the pteranodon 😭, because i haven’t put food in its inventory, and guys don’t kill nothing that is near it if you haven’t put food inside of its inventory, you are just going to end up killing your creature instead ☹️.

You can actually make a good “breeding pen” for these guys if you make a 4 x 3 thatch hut with a generator, one air conditioner, some storage for meat, and bam. The reason for this is because they fit through a doorframe, even with an open door. Good luck

If a low level it's an easy game but as higher levels go on you need lore meat and lore narcotics

Wile fast they do not Cary much but they are very fun

This Dino is really easy to tame with a bola, tranq arrow to the head, and dodo kibble. For weak-hearted new players like me, it’s very useful to scout the surrounding areas farther away from your base. Make sure to up the stamina and maybe movement speed.
