As of 4/20/17 this calculator is incorrect. 150 max torp is 2138 not 3479. A problem for sure

Taming this thing is a little tedious: ARK: Mobile btw

1. Get mushroom, mushroom is the best food for Procoppy, best go to the swamp or wait for your daily reward to get some

2. Find The Roo: it's kinda hard to get since you have to go to terror bird land and look for a (base color) camouflaged jumping thingy on the ground. Luckily on mobile you can pick them up with an Argy

3. Trap the Hopping boi: (they are passive and flee when attacked, they do not fight back) after you secured the boi in your Argys talons, you'll need at least a 2x2 trap (don't make it out of thatch please it looks ugly ish) with 2 high walls/doorframes, (be careful of your frames because sometimes it can glitch out of your doorframes) then drop your soon to be Australian Beelzebufo into the trap

4: Tame: I would say at least Tranq dart type of knockout power but toxicant arrows are fine too. And start firing away! The Roo should knock out in around a dozen shots and then you should be able to feed it mushrooms. (very luckily mushrooms don't expire so that's great) Make sure to get a good amount of narcotics or bio toxin.

Usage: now you have a tamed kangaroo, and there are some uses to it, first of all. A lot of weight when you tame it and +20 kg whenever you level it up, it also has Near ZERO fall damage. I jumped off blue ob to the ground and suffered like 10 hp, it is also multi-passenger albeit the saddle not having another seat, the pouch is there to help, as the pouch allows weapons and tools to be held in the pouch and you have a weight reduction in there as well. There is 2 attacks: there is the Bite (Right side Tap) which is self explanatory, Only collects Wood and Thatch. And there is Kick (Left side Down swipe) which collects wood and thatch and does a good amount of knockback, perfect for sending anything out of your sight. (spyglass glitch encouraged)

Well just use wooden billboards and just wait for it to stop then place wooden billboards around it and boom now it’s stuck enjoy.

They can eat berries on mobile

I use a net projectile to demobilize it then shoot it with tranqs.

Can’t be picked up by argents or wyverns now. Such bs

Can be trapped with the net gun.

Good way to trap them is with a standard 2x2 stone doorframe trap and rare flowers. They can get over 1 wall, so stack walls 2 high. They cannot be picked by any flier, and can only be immobilized by large bear traps. Another way to get them, for high level survivors, is freezing one with a snow owl, and putting spikes around it

How to tame on mobile:

Step 1: Get bronto

Step 2: Bring bronto to swamp

Step 3: Demolish trees to get rare mushrooms

Step 4: Spend ages looking for a procoptodon. The best way to find them is to not be looking for them.

Step 5: Carry procy back to base with argy

Step 6: Tranq and feed mushrooms

Just gonna say that the things the birds can and can’t pick up needs updated. I picked up a Procoptodon with my argy just yesterday.

In mobile it still can be picked up by argy this is 2021 and I just did carry one with argy — sly gold

Tame timing is WAY off here, so is starve timer. Make sure you have lots of narc and mushrooms

Pick it up with your argy then take it to your base and have someone shoot it while you're holding it with the argy. Actually works. Much easier than chasing it all over your base. Lol.

Get rare mushrooms from the swamp, not the the tall trees but the ones that have multiple roots going into the ground. Use a metal pick axe too! You'll know the difference between trees when you see them

The rare flower it needs to eat to tame it feed it 75 point of food so times that by the number of food he needs to eat and that will tell you how long you'll have to starve it by.

If you build a wood 2x2 with two high wood doorframes with ramps on the side you can eat a rare flower and lead it into the trap very easy and the trap won’t break at all since they don’t attack for longer thank 30 seconds
