Good way to trap them is with a standard 2x2 stone doorframe trap and rare flowers. They can get over 1 wall, so stack walls 2 high. They cannot be picked by any flier, and can only be immobilized by large bear traps. Another way to get them, for high level survivors, is freezing one with a snow owl, and putting spikes around it
More Procoptodon Taming & KO Tips
Here is how you tame a 🦘✨Procoptadon✨ 🦘
Get 4 billboards a rare flower rare mushrooms and some tranqs.
☝️FIRST you will place 3 of the four billboards then you will eat a 🌸rare flower🌸 get the Procoptadon to chace you into the three billboards while your in the trap with the Procoptadon place the last bilboard in the empty space. THEN crawl underneath the bilboard and tranq it. ONCE it is knocked out feed it the 🍄rare mushrooms🍄 and you have tamed yourself a ✨Procoptadon✨
PRO tip- after tamed it will eat regular berries🍒 🫐🍓

Can be carried by an argy in single player mobile. Just did it a couple of minutes ago. ^ so mobile players can see this.
For ark players that are iron mobile I recommend that you make a 1×2 thatcth thingy with door frames and then pick it up and drop it in seal of the tip with roofs and knock it out this way easier than trying to use billboards
I come on here for tips about taming and ko and all i see is complaining about changes made. Can i get some actual tips on catching this thing, tried bear traps but couldnt get it armed in time to catch one.
Its likely spawn at the mountains
ASA Scorched earth. I literally trapped 2 of these like this. by just walking up on them from the front with a morellatops and snapping 3 dino gates/doors around the back of them quickly then the front. Add a couple pillars in the middle of one of the doors, open it up and tranq em. Give em the mushrooms and babysit torpor if you are on 1x official.
Eat rare flowers to get it into a trap.
Build a door trap at least 2x3 and eat a rare flower next to it so it will chase you. Run as fast as you can into the trap. It will hurt but you will be able to tame it!
WILL eat berries once tamed! Confirmed.
Hit it with Tranqs hahaha actually put 2 bilboards on it and 2 round it 1 in front (on its head) and another 1 on its back then 2 boards round the kangaroo then shoot it wit either tranq darts or tranq arrows.
