These are actually quite good they are slower than pt but still quite fast. They gave decent stamina and do extra dmg against small fishes. They can float on water and can be used as mobile fishing seat. They harvest organic polymer, AND guess what, they regain stamina on water! Try it out. If you can tame a high level one of these, tame one! Equals ptera in multiple aspects, and even surpasses it in some aspects. It’s saddle is also just a bit higher level. You can get a ton of organic poly...if ypur a fricking savage and enjoy going around slaughtering baby penguins# yout all monsters:)

They have decent stamina, speed, and they can effortlessly float on the water and regain stamina acting like a raft. Their weight is ok, but the big reason why people don't often tame them, is becaue they cannot carry creatures.

Tame a male and female and breed them

Breed them as much as u can and incubate the egg until its like 2sec or 3sec remaining until hatch

When you really really need poly hatch the egg and MASS MURDERER THE BABY, SEND THEIR SOUL TO JESUS and harvest the body with wooden club for a LOT of organic poly

Keep in mind tho that organic poly can spoil and cannot stacked that much

Baryonyxs are its worst nightmare. It’s not fun getting booted off into the water and every time you try to get back on it stuns you again. If this does happen just swim to shore and whistle for it to follow, that will bring the bary running. Start running away from the water (the peligornis can fly faster than the bary can swim/run) when your bird is close enough hop on and fly away. I saved my Orangeburg this way.

It might just be me, but I noticed that piranhas seem away from my pelagornis

There was supposed to be a weight reduction and poly gathering buff, but I was testing it today and no weight reduction and didn’t notice any better gathering

Did you know if you use the controls that you would use to make it fly(ex. For mobile, you would swipe up on the left slide of the screen)repeatedly, it will go underwater? Make sure you keep spamming those fly controls to keep it underwater longer, but it has an oxygen stat so be mindful!

I LOVE the Pelagornis. You don’t even have to tame a high level one. If it’s like level 20 or something it’s still fine. It ain’t no argentavies but its weight is pretty dang good. Gets a like 3 or 5 times damage boost to fish (idk which is one it is) and it one taps them and harvests them in a single attack. It gets a little extra organic polymer too. It can land on water (which is actually pretty op if you think about it) and it can swim pretty fast. You can also fish off the top of it when in water. Also if you look down at an angle and spam take off you will actually go under the water. As soon as you stop, you will float to the surface so you won’t get stuck. All in all, the Pelagornis is easy to access (on the beach so safer than an argent, really common so easier than a tapejara and way better to than a pt), has op abilities (fish damage, landing on water ect), is a pretty good flyer (good weight, alright speed ect) and it’s so easy to tame! Just bola (if you need to), shoot and feed it raw fish or prime fish, feed it narcotics (or just narcoberries) and then it’s tamed! The Pelagornis Is also surprisingly good at climbing. I’ve scaled cliffs with one of these. I would level stamina, weight and health (with a little bit of damage here and there). In my opinion, the Pelagornis is a top-tier flyer. It isnt meant for riding its meant for farming

They are like pteranodons but can swim and slightly have more weight storage and they are just good for longer travel’s in early game

They are so good at getting biotoxin

Better the PT it can go and both land sea and air I've also been able to travel all over the island because ov it's diversity

When on water you can kill jellyfish to get easy bio toxin because of the water attack aoe but don't get hit!

Really underrated guy my pela got me through gen 1 in the ocean area (just starting out) I was able to easily tame and then traverse across islands, and to get fish just jump in ocean and after killing fish use Helena to tp back until you get the right island.

I think it needs to be addressed that these birds are excellent at killing jellyfish. Their increase attack works on them. You one shot them.

Probably one of my favorite flyers,

if you lvl movement and weight they are more versatile than any other flyer as that they can swim on the top of the water. And fast at that.

I only wish that you had allitle more visibility below you, in the water, as things such as jellies can sneak up on you. Or maybe, better yet, the Pelly could sound some sort of alarm when something other than a Coelacanth swims near it.
