One time I was riding in the redwoods and one of these guys pop out. The next second it said I tamed one! So I took him and now he’s my best friend. Very cute guys.

Had regular kibble in my 0 slot. 3 of these guys attacked me and they tamed themselves (single player world with instant tame.)

Just put berries in the last slot of your hot bar. Don’t pick them up though, sometimes they don’t come off…

Pego doesn’t annoy me that much since it usually steals something like some meat from me, and they usually run into rocks so you can kill em easy or knock em out and take back your stuff is you were taming. Itchyornis, I know I spelled that wrong, are just complete dipsticks and they need to be murdered. Every. Last. One. Little pieces of crud stole my ascendant crossbow and I didn’t manage to get my crossbow back and I almost died cuz I was on low health from a carno and that was my only weapon

Tricking this Dino into a tent is a guaranteed cheap and fast way to tame!

They require more berries than the dex says, maybe 5 or more stacks of Mejo depending on the level.

I tamed it easily by building a 2x2 roofless shack, picking it up with a Pt and dropping it in.

Went into the shack with a stack of mejo in my last slot and as it took it, I just put back a stack and waited for the thief to strike again.

Put a stack of mejos in slot 0. (99) let it steal of you and you will tame it.

I was looking for a bear to tame and had superior kibble on me. This is how I tamed my first pego.

Easiest way to tame these is by having NOTHING BUT BERRIES in your inventory. I tamed one because it stole mejoberry seeds and was tamed. This I named him WUT?.

Challenge accepted

You can catch it with the argy mouth and let it still kibble or berries

Put mejos into smaller stacks and allow pego to rob them from your last slot, best done in a pen with the pego to save you chasing it around.
