The absalute best method for taming these creatures it to drop them in a small box, (you can use a ptera for that). Once it's in the box all you have to do is get a heap of mejoberries, then to tame simply trap it in the corner of the box. The reason for this is that it's always in "bug mode" (the mode were it gets scared or something and it's taming percentage drops). But this way it's taming percentage does not drop at all for some reason. I have tamed multiple max level pego's with this method. Do not listen to what people say about having it in a large space. Go for small and trap it in the corner, as simple as that.

They are a pain in the wild but tame them as you are starting on offical and steal beach bobs loot with them. Maybe even tame and army

No joke I shot this thing in the head with my crossbow and it tamed. With a stone arrow. Also, I wish it had died so I shot in the head again. Dinner was good that night.

I've seen these things kill brontos, carry a few wild ones and drop them into an enemy base and those little devils will wipe their brontos out...

It is best to tame this creature with at least 10-15 Mejoberries in your last slot. I find it best to simply split a stack enough, that the next split will be around 10-15. Doing this split after it steals the berries allows for it to immediately go into the last slot. Saving time. It is best to tame the creature in an open area, as it getting stuck on walls causes it to take it longer to try to steal again, causing the taming bar to drop. Low lvls 20 and below are easy by yourself. Higher lvl ones require teamwork with your tribe, as it gives the Pego more people to steal from, since the taming bar drops quickly. The higher the lvl the harder it is and more berries it will take.

Put mejo/crops in your 0 slot and walk up too it and let it steal them from you. Your best bet is to grab them and drop them in a tameing pit. They lose tameing effectiveness very fast so make sure no to walk to far away from them

Carry around cooked prime, raw prime, and raw meat only! So when one tries to steal from your inventory, it will end up taming itself!

Use Mejos, it works perfectly. Also doesn't take too long. Does take a lot of menos...
