Fill your inventory full of 20 stacks of mejo berries. Drop the peg in a box. Let it steal it all from you. Make sure it's 20 berries each at least or the taming will go down. Took me a good while to tame it. Take off ur armor and make sure to have health potions, whatever is in the far right box on ur hot bar will be priority to the peg. That's what it will steal. If you don't have anything it turns aggressive.

Enclose them while trying to tame as they then can't run away.

If they take your stuff, easiest thing to do it hit them with one tranq dart. They will pass out, take your shit back and then hack it to death. Much easier than trying to chase it around!

I was surprisingly able to tame one. and I don't know how, but I had bug repellent active at the time and I hit it with a mantis. Then it said that I had Tamed it.

Put on a full set of Gilli and get stack of 100x berries in ya inventory. Add a full stack to the last inventory slot and he will rob them. Quickly refill with a new stack and he will turn around and steal again and repeat until tamed.eecommend you are dropping it I'm a small box as it will run off if not

I didn't need berries to tame it it just stole my apprentice shotgun

You might need a lot more mejos to tame I was getting a lvl 20 and took 450 mejos

Make sure you check the inventory before skinning. You will lose what ever it has taken from you

I tried using crops it doesn't work just bring a lot of mejo berries

All low lvls and newbies to the game be sure to walk right up to these guys

Try to knock it out and then take evrytjing out of your inventory and it will take all your berries and will be tamed almost instant is also a shoulder mount

Clear your inventory and put mejoberries in your inventory and let it steal them. Try carrying multiple stacks because they can steal alot. Also once tamed you can carry them on your shoulder.

Crops don't give you a taming bar...
