One time I was going to base and then a group of pegos attacked me. I killed all but one snuck up behind me and I guess it took my berries and I accidentally tamed it. Lol 😆

I never minded these. They always annoyed everyone and I didn't see why. Yes, they steal your items, yet, they give them back of you kill them. I can't say the same for the Ichthyornis. Well, I get it now. A pego stole my cryopoded level 206 quetzal, Midnight. I couldn't find the pego. That quetz took me 2 and a half hours to tame. RIP Midnight.

After running after Jim for about 10 minutes (I didn't looke at what he eats so I offered him meat and random things to steal, so the taming time was so slow) he stated swimming and suddenly died. I dont know why. Was it from hunger? Lack of oxygen? There weren't any piranhas near us.

Later I tried taking another one, he also entered to that river, and after several minutes of swimming he also died. And the same happened to three more of them. They preferred dying to be by my side.....

I was playing my new single player world and I was pretty new, stone tools thatch hut that sort of stuff, and I accidentally tamed one of these (his name is accident) and we where out on the beach and I get hit by a sarco, I panic and run away. I turn back to see if it’s following me and I see my pego attacking it, I didn’t expect much from him when I got the notification saying your accident (pegomastax lvl 10) killed sarco lvl 50. Don’t underestimate these mfs

These guys are nasty little critters, one time I was wandering around somewhere west, and then one of them appeared and attacked me, he locked me in a room, a rubber room, a rubber room with rats, the rats made me crazy.

One once stole my lvl 437 cryopoded giga, never saw it again, these guys suck

I was moving from one base to another and I had a cryopoded sarco, only level 70 but it was my first tame, not my favorite but my first. I had a pego attack me but I didn’t realize that is what it took, I noticed that I lost it later, I was upset but just thought that I dropped it. Fast forward 2000 in game days, I was tired of seeing some random pego on my taming log, as a joke me and my friend grabbed Shotguns and tracked the pego down and killed it. My friend checked its inventory and said, “I found your Termigator”. I guess he did come back lol. If you lose something important. Assume it was a pego

One day I set out berry harvesting. While harvesting I seemed to have gained the intrest of these little creatures. They must have thought I was picking the berries for them because they kept taking them and then deciding to be my friend. It wasn't until after I had gained a small pack that I realized they always take from the last inventory slot and I had a certain berry there. They now live very comfortably with plenty of berries so they don't have to steal.

Hate these things, worst animal in the game almost lost a lvl 98 cryopoded spino to one

Literally just put berries in your last hotbar slot. Four ran up to me and the naming screen came up so I named it something random, but then once I finished, another one came up, and another. I thought it was bugged until I realised I named all of my Pegos the exact same thing

This little guy came over to me while i was clearing my stuff out he took my 43 charcoal “all good don’t need that” nearly done and another came over took my 135 wood so i shot him and took my wood back and out of no where three of them come over and take 103 narcotics, 273 metal ingots and my rex egg that i needed to incubate i went arfter my egg because nothing is more valuable then my dino’s. :(

One time a pegomastax stole a cryopod with a low health rock drake in it.

So, I was out and about, and then this guy comes up to me, and he's like, Hey! And I go, Hi .

And then the guy is like, I'm a bandit say hi to my 56 Pegos

Wave of pegos crash over me. They strip me of my ascendant longneck rifle, clothes, food, stone, and credit card information.

Me: WAAAAAA !!!!!

But the pegos deal damage when they steal and these guys had really upgraded damage. I was down to 30% health. I managed to kill 1 pego before the person shoots me with a shotgun.

Truly, this happened. Tame a bunch of pegos (really recommended) bu don't rob me!

A level 130 red and black female(turkey trial colors) just gave me a heart atack by jumping out of a berry bush at me. Her name is Pilfer...

I accidentally tamed one of these once because I had mejoberries in my last item slot and it took them and tamed itself! I was so confused
