If you knock these guys out or kill them after they steal something inedible you can get your stuff back from their inventory, just got a cryopod back today from one of these jerks

I have 40 hours in game. Never seen one of these guys. I have watched some video though, and I always keep mejoberries in my last slot, just in case ;)

My Tribe has lost a lvl 200+ spino set to passive, 2 over lvl 100 Sarcos set to aggressive and a lvl 60 Rex set to neutral so be careful when leaving tames outside

Worst thing that's ever happened was when me and my friend encountered one, don't know what it stole. The Pego went near Megatheriums, then one of our Raptors attacked the Megatherium, killed both of our Raptors, while my friend was running away with our Direwolf, which was also killed.

Pegomastax spawn on the easier beach locations, they leap at you and take everything in one slot from you so split up valuable stuff. Also they scream before they jump so remember the sound so you can dodge their jump.

You can run, or pit something useless in your last slot

I found one it took my bow I had flying stealer's eating my food it suked.
