Ok so I’ve herd people getting really pissed of by these things because they have stolen their stuff and they couldn’t find them so they lost their good items but their is actually a really easy way to find them. You are probably familiar with these things taming method you let them steal berries from you and than they tame. because of this method when they steal something from you the game thinks you are trying to tame them. So hypothetically speaking of the game thinks your trying to tame them you could use the taming tracker to pinpoint their exact location from all the way across the map and because their taming they won’t despawn (do keep in mind that they still are wild so if a Dino wipe happens they will despawn) please up if this helps
More Pegomastax Encountering Tips
To the guy i stole stone foundations from, i now have one a rather large home with my pegomastax wife. We now have 2 pegomastax children who recently learned how to steal, and we are aiming for 3. Thanks to you, i have gotten a large headstart in my pegomastax life, and no, you are not getting your stone foundations back. They belong to my family now.

I think it would be cool if there were pego nests. You could find them near beaches/places where you can find pegos. They could have a few resources in them that they stole from something. Maybeee? 😁
On ASA mobile I just encountered one at night not far from the beach... The warning music played, I sprinted to my camp fire on a single wooden foundation. From the darkness the scary nightmare of a creature jumped up, bit me, stole my cooked meat. I jumped back pulled on my bow sting and killed it.
In ark mobile they are only found in dungeons as an eerie variant so don’t spend 100 years trying to find one
