Crops did nothing for progress. Find your target, go 20 ft down the beach and build a little 4x4 walled area. Lead it in and close it off. They are relatively slow and will agro for a good distance. They do a small amount of damage on stealing so make sure dinos arent on neutral(wyvern flames hurt). Full stacks of mejos in your 0 slot should do the trick in no time.

Have about 20,000 mejo berries on you. And blood packs. Nearly impossible to tame.

First, put the tame item in the zero slot; the pego steals the zero slot item first.

Second, the amounts given on the calculator are completely incorrect, a pego takes several stacks of mejos, more with levels. Additionally, it has the passive tame bug where advanced crops don't work, so don't even bother with them.

Finally, once tame a pego retains its inventory from during the tame, so if it took anything it didn't eat you can get it back, including any misspent advanced crops.

I tried spreading out the berries but his taming dropped. Stacks of 100 tamed a lvl 100 in about 3 mins. Couldnt leave berries on dino to steal. Took around 1000 mejo berries all up.

Doesn't matter what berries you have just bring a butt load. Bigger the stack bigger tame jump. Use a bird to get it in a pen.

Took me 300 mejia on a 3x server

Have tried out in the open & taming pen.taming meter resets every time it come back for more. Think it's broken.

A level 110 jacked me every 3mins of 100 mejo's each time. Took a total of 900 from me before being tamed. Definitely lore these into a taming pen otherwise you'll have a biiig run around ahead of you

To tame put 100 berries in your inventory in last slot let him steal it and switch to to another stack of berries and let him steal that rinse and repeat

I tamed able level 25 yesterday and it took about 5 full stacks of mejos and two full stacks of the other berries.

Found a few along the eastern and southern beaches/jungle on The Island map. Very rare I've seen one alone.

It will steal the entire stack of berries!!! Break down your stacks into small amounts!!!

If you wish to tame but it steals something valuable you can just knock it out for your valuable back give 3 mind and he's ready to steel Berry's

Put them in a taming pen, then Putt stacks of about 20 mejo on your last slot then standing next to them seems to work well. Takes about 200-300 for most levels.

Use a turtle in taming pen and they will steal berrys off you and not damage you
