I tamed a parasaur today. He was named Kronk. I worked hard to try and level him up (I didn’t get far), and one day took him to the Hunter cave to get crystal. I started on the short distance home slowly, carrying 300. Half way home, I encountered a raptor and crossed a river to get away. I got close enough that I could see my home when I heard the raptor attacking Kronk again, so I got off and whacked that raptor furiously with my metal axe. By the time I had killed it, it had killed Kronk. I dragged Kronk home and built a gravestone for him. I cared so much for Kronk that I used CHEAT CODES for the gravestone. Kronk was my only friend on the single player Ark, may he rest in peace.

Hello all here's a story! I once had a para named Flounder, he was my first mount. He was so high level, he could take down a bary with two shots! I still had him, and while I was collecting berries, I saw a ptera. I decided, let's tame this thing, so I did. After awhile I wanted a bary. So, I headed into a nearby swamp. I brung my new ptera, Zoomer, and Flounder. Zoomer had a saddle and Flounder did too. So with Zoomer on follow, we rode into the swamp. After awhile, I was killing everything I saw. Until a few barys, sarcos, and kapros came alone. In fear, I tried attacking them. But a titanoboa attacked, too, and Flounder

got knocked out. I quickly got everything from my beloved tame's inventory, and whistled for Zoomer to land. I hopped on his back and I flew up, looking down at my poor, poor para. Flounder, savior of worlds, became smaller and smaller as we flew off, still being attacking in his slumber.

I went adventuring riding my Parasaur parry and then out of no we’re a giant rapture came and then they started fighting and then it got so bad I didn’t know what do and then the rapture dropped and parry stood next to a tree the rapture was dead and we had victory but then I look at parry and saw the trembling words (Dead) she was only standing because she was against a tree so she gave his life for mine and now I have a sign to memorialize parry. So i saw a beautiful red lvl145 parasaur that looked perfect for my male parasaur at base. As I threw the bola I realized I made an awful mistake by not putting my raptor pack on passive first. I watched in horror as 8 raptors shredded the poor girl in seconds. A few minutes later my game crashed and when I reloaded the parasaur was still alive. Didn't make the same mistake twice. But as I was dealing with a pesky diplo, a wild raptor snuck around and ate the parasaur anyway. Needless to say, I was not happy.

“Nyx!” Forest exclaimed.

The young Shadowmane turned her head with surprise, and her face lit up. “Guys! You came! How did you—”

She stopped talking. There was a noise in the forest behind the others. Her eyes widened. “Guys—”

An awful hissing, cackling sound came from the rocks around them. Forest stepped back, only for his leg to almost slip into a cutoff of rock. He looked over his shoulder and saw the stone and grass fall away into a wide ravine, littered with caves. The sounds came again, louder than before.

“Nyx, come here.” Moonbeam said firmly. “Come here right now.”

Nyx’s tail fell between her legs. Carefully, she took a step towards them. but before she could take another, something snarled and leapt towards her.

“Nyx!” Moonbeam roared, leaping as well. There was a clash of scales as Shadowmane and creature collided. Rocks scraped and just seconds later, Moonbeam fell down into the ravine.

I placed some spike wals with my parsaur but then a bronto ran in to it and it killed me and my parasaur 1 like=for dalion

One of my first games ever was a para called dusky. She was the first dinosaur I ever equipped a saddle on and I used her to get to turtles so my raptor can kill her. I didn’t have a sarco saddle so I rid my para in the water with my sarco lizzy on aggressive attacking fishy’s and me and dusky helped. At the end I had like 200 raw fish to do who knows what with. Once a carno came and attacked my base so I ran. I thought everything would die because all my creatures are on passive but then I came back and dusky killed it. She was the only one on attack target and killed it on her own. I have spinosaurus now and a Rex but she still lives by my side. I don’t care that she is no help now and is nothing to my other dinos, but I still ride her to this day. All my first creatures but dusky where killed by the carno making her my oldest tame.

Okay here’s a story= I was gathering some berries when I saw at the corner of my screen: You have entered a dangerous area! I didn’t think before I went home to see RAPTORS CHASING ME!!! My Parasur and pachy saved me but I died from low health. I respawned and thanked them they also survived with low health. I got my items and put them back where they were before the chase. I went inside to cook some Dodo kibble when I saw a predator outside near my house, I went back inside hoping I would be okay but NO…. When it was nighttime I saw the corner of my screen : You have entered a dangerous area! Again and I heard fighting outside. I heard a Parasur screech and opened the door AND SAW MY PARASUR AND THE PREDATOR FIGHTING! I got my spears but it was to late…. Lina (My parasur’s name) had died…. The predator chased me to the back of my house and it had 70 health so I killed it. I looked for my pachy front and backside of my house.. She was nowhere to be seen. My dodo (I have one for fertilizer and eggs) was alive because she was in the house and I was relieved. I stepped out and looked at a rock beside me.. my pachy was dead.. I screamed in my head and almost cried.. I didn’t see my Lina’s Creature implant and was so sad. I checked my inventory for the kibble and saw her implant. I felt joy crawling up my spine, I didn’t have any amber so I buyed the one dollar pack and went to a revive stone. I saw the bright shine and was so happy! LINA WAS BACK.

This is based on a true story that happend to me just now.

I once had a parasaur.We killed brontos together. He carried all my stuff. One day he was killed by a high level spino . I got all my objects back but lost my parasaur ,so I decided to get revenge tamed 40 creatures and killed the spino . Only 10 creatures survived . My parasaur who sacrificed himself for me finally got justice. He's in a better place now.

Chapter fourteen: My love is gone.

The glass in Emma’s hand dropped and shattered upon impact with the floor. Her mouth opened in a silent cry at first, and tears rolled down her cheeks, like ocean waves upon the sand. The door opened a messenger, Lucas, ran in. William leapt to his feet. “Your majesty! We were ambushed! Marvelo destroyed our forces! Captain Andrew…is dead. Emma’s silent cry suddenly became audible. She let out a long mournful, unearthly, wail from deep inside her. “NOOOOO!” She cried and sunk to her knees. Jay rushed to her side to comfort her.

“Andrew!” Emma sobbed. Jay hugged his sister. She buried her face into his shoulder and wept. Emma wept and wept, until tears soaked her face. Her body shook with sobs. Jay released her as her sobs began to calm. “Emma?” He asked. Emma had a distant look in her face. Her body shook with sobs. “My husband…my love… is gone!” She sobbed. “Emma-” William began but Emma suddenly stood to her feet. “Please excuse me.” She said, and then felt her way out of the room.

Emma lay in bed that night, crying until tears soaked her pillow. Andrew was gone. Her husband, was gone. “Andrew.” She whispered to a empty room. He was not there. His comforting arms were not around her. His warm body was not pressed against hers. His loving lips were not against hers. Andrew was not there. Her husband was gone. Emma drew in a deep shuddering breath. “Why does love have to hurt so much?” She whispered. There was no answer.

“You were always there for me. You were my life, my love.” Emma said softly. Tears dripped down her nose. “What will I do without you?” She blinked her long wet eyelashes, and let herself be overwhelmed by memories of him. Andrew. Andrew, when they first met. Andrew, on a picnic with her. Andrew, dancing with her. Andrew, asking her to marry him. Andrew, kissing her. Andrew, loving her. Andrew. Andrew, with a heart as big as Africa. Andrew, her one love.

“I love you Em.” His voice echoed through her mind. Her body shook with silent tears. “I’ll never forget you. I’ll see that we win this war…for you. I will always love you.” Emma cried. And then she sobbed herself to sleep.

Story Time!

I started playing ark on my Xbox. I had played ark before, so I was pretty familiar with seemingly eternal screaming, frustration, bathing in a pool of your own tears, and the five stages of grief. I spawned in on The Island, the birthplace of a journey I would never forget. I saw a Tek Parasaur some time after I spawned. Having never seen a Tek creature before, for I only played on switch prior to this, I tamed it by the bright glow of a blue supply drop I didn't have access to because I was such a low level. I crafted a saddle for him and we set out in search of a base location, Kevin and I against the deadly world we were in. We made it to the southwestern island by the red obelisk. I saw a Therizino across the river on that island. Years of research and loving dinosaurs to bits told me that Therizinos were herbivores. Comparing them to the peaceful and friendly nature of the Triceratops and Parasaurs around this particular Therizino, I assumed it wouldn't mind if I stepped near it. Stupidly naive, I ran up to it with Kevin and I did not expect it to slap me into next week. Thankfully I put points into health so the attack didn't kill me right off the bat, but the attack startled me so bad I accidentally dismounted. I had a bow, so I quickly regained my sense of survival and let my stone arrows fly. After a few seconds I started wondering, "What's up with all that black stuff on Kevin?" Two seconds later, he sprouted wings and flew up into the clouds. This kill filled me with rage as I threw everything I had at this Therizino, that being two spears and about fourteen or so arrows. I aimed my last arrow at the Therizino's head a let it fly. The body came crashing down to the earth, covered in blood and arrows, with one particular arrow square between the eyes.

Tranq arrows/darts work best for ko. If you lack them, use the club. Bola first then aim for the head. Bet it relentlessly with the club until it breaks free from the bola or falls over. Shove mejo berries down its throat and you should be fine. I've never had to use narcotics during the taming process. Could be my settings. I use Phlinger Phoo's single player settings, so that might be why. Either way, super easy tame, and I never miss an opportunity to tame up a high level (120+ for me). Same for Pteranodons. I could be mistaken, but I do believe pumping it with melee, increases the radius of it's ping. An absolute must have for base security because of this ability. I don't know how many times my base has been saved because of early warning detection from my "sentries." Usually nothing more than a handful of dilos but the occasional Spino/Barry likes to spawn relatively close by, so it's it's always good to know what's getting too close for comfort.

My Para the parasur died to a megalodon while we were on my pillar raft:( (1 up prayer for Para).

I once had a parasuar, whose name was Lagoona. She was level 28, and enjoyed killing piranhas. One day we were out looking for more dilos to add to our dilo army (I now have 7) and we were attacked by a huge creature with incredible claws. That monster killed Lagoona, and a nearby raptor ended me. Thankfully I had her implant, and ASAP went to the creature revival place. Sadly I was never able to make it, and Lagoona’s last roar still haunts me to this day.

If a raptor can have a ark animated series skin then the parasaurs should have a skin too.

Ok so if you heard about my last one with the demon here he comes in again and saves me from a huge pack of compys who almost killed me and him like at least 8 compys without him I would have died probably so always bring a para Sauer with u cuz they are very helpful is loving :) BUT IF YOU KILL ONE I WILL KILL YOU >=( also now i think I should put this in funny but I’m lazy to type all of this again so eh

I once had a para named Strider. I was on Ragnarok with her and a pego named Stead, and we were moving from the jungles to the desert. We were on top of a snowy mountain when we were jumped by a trio of sabers. I jumped off Strider and had her run away, and I stayed to fight off the sabers. I died. I never got a death message. To this day, Strider is still roaming the frozen wastes, alone. Stay strong old friend, I’m coming.

I don’t know why I love these creatures. Don’t ask me why, but I do. I think they’re awesome. So that’s why, as a level 105 survivor, on my singleplayer, I’m still taming X-Parasaurs 😂. Because they’re awesome.

Swamp Guy

I had a very traumatizing experience. I had just tamed my para called Perry, and was taking him for a joyride. We were having great fun until a terror bird appeared. I turned around and ran fast as Perry could, but it caught up and killed us.
