i was on a meat run with a raptor and stumbled upon a pair of parasaur mates. after i had killed the female, the male was running head first towards me.

i have no idea why he did this, he could have been trying to avenge his mate, but my working theory was that he's stupid.

This is not funny I tried to get an egg to do you hatch and it was a fertilizing there is a baby in it and I put it next to the fire and it wouldn’t so I grab the torch and I kept on doing its helif when down to 50 it still said too cold to cold so I keep tryingand thorw to in to the the fire and it said too cold!so I ate it and just stared crying 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 rip baby paradur😭😭😭

So one day I had tamed this Parasaur I named chad and we’ll and few weeks later i tames I dilo I called him spity boi and I attacked a triceratops thinking “yeah they can do this!” But they couldn’t and I watched chad die in my very eyes of course it was THE DAY I GIT MY DILO and he killed the trike before I died I took pics of my fallen comrade (chad) and sadly had to take his meat XD I fed spity boi and made a grave for chad but the one thing I learned is….never put a para near a trike 1 like= MUCH RESPECC FOR CHAD

Dont be worried about a high level parasaur being that a simple level 15 will tame up in 20 minutes or so. The tame can be leveled up quickly while berry picking. It can really be a helpful mount when moving location that it can carry a lot of weight.

When you encounter an opposing parausar it can often alert the other player that you are near him giving up your location, same as if you had one tamed up.

It make funny noices and just like some of the other comments it really does make a great friend.

The first thing I tamed on ark was a level 40 parasaur named Jar Jar. I thought I was the luckiest player in the world to find a level 40! He was my best friend. He kept me safe from a dilo pack multiple times. I worked so hard to craft a saddle for him. He was a beast at gathering berries. But one day, he became to weak to defeat a pack of 12 dolls. He succumbed to them. RIP Jar Jar...
