The parasaur is a really helpful tame for gathering berries in the early game but it’s also very helpful in PVP because of it’s special ability to seek out enemy’s and you can just leave your base to get resources and it will tell you if your parasaur saw an enemy at your base and you can act quickly.

They aren't that hard to tame what I did was hit it when not let it get away and wait till it got suck on something

And then just give them some food

Paradaur seem to have a better chance to collect seeds for vegetable crops.

1. Find parasaur.

2. Bola it.

3. Feed berries.

It’s easy when you try to knock it out bc it sometimes gets stuck and it’s easy to tame

when its dark put your para on turret and it will mark threats with a red circle.

the para is an easy tame just bola its legs, tranq it and then feed it berries.

So I was level three and then two level thirty dilos attacked and I died. Then I went to the taming spot (it wasn’t that far away) then I say the parasaur get up and it helped me kill the dilos then the legend of the Gaelic Dino Sean (because he was in the color scheme oft he Irish flag) lives on FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stuff it full of berries; easiest way to tame, berries; find in bushes and everywhere pretty much.

Very useful. They have the ability to send a wave for a short distance to see what is around you that is a threat, also they can scare away small creatures (raptors, pegomastax e.g.). And they have good weight capacity and very easy to tame, this is definitely a good mount.

When you tame a para you can now harvest berries and thatch very efficiently. If you right click your para can detect enemies which is very useful in pvp, if you press C you can do a roar which scares creatures up to the size of raptors.

If you have one, set it on turret mode, it will alert you of hostile creatures and other players not in your tribe. My parasaur has saved me countless times because of that trait. Level Movement Speed and health so it’ll have a chance of getting away safely if it’s targeted, and also so it’ll double as a starter mount.

I used 34 tranq arrows then punched it a few times to get it down low enough to fall unconscious. Don't forget the narcoberries!

To get a Parasaur of your own I suggest using a bola then knock it out ( prepare a lot of berries ) then feed it a lot of berries

First trap it a place it can’t escape then punch it til it’s knocked out and then tame it boom that’s what I did

I tamed 6 of these and 4-5 dilos and now I kill sarcos and carbonemys without trouble.
