If you're not picky about the stats on your rhyniognatha, you should definitely use this to tame your rhyniognatha, as it has a lot of health and weight capacity, and can run relatively fast with more endurance than a bronto, so you do not need to upgrade its stats very much after taming it. In addition, they're almost invisible to most swamp creatures (not including the rhyniognatha) so you can tame the rhyniognatha without much interference from the other creatures. They also spawn in the same place as the rhyniognatha so if ur REALLY not picky, you can tame the rhyniognatha on the spot without bringing a lot of its cravings with you. Hope this helps! :)

Wild dinos ignore you while you are on it unless you attack them except if the dino is an allo, spino, rex, alpha rex, yuty, carcharo, giga, rhynio, or insect buffed megatherium which will attack on sight.

Ok, so I just tamed two of these. (I live in the swamp/Redwoods) So, Iβm just living my life, and an Alpha Carno just comes out of nowhere?? He just kinda,,, appeared. And I was really stressed out cause I thought I was gonna lose everything, but my paracers came through! They had the Carno down in less than a minute. I would definitely recommend these things to mid-level players like me, especially since theyβre not hard to tame at all! (Sorry itβs so long, I got excited)

On Scorched Earth the Paracer with its platform saddle is a needed tame. You can put a cannon on it and use it for taming Rock Elementals or use its high weight and health for carrying large loads of supplies around through dangerous areas.
I use my paracer as my cargo transport dino for short to mid distance. I use it to go to the redwood nearby and gather MASSIVE amounts of metal. Just hop off, get the metal, load up the paracer, then get back home. They can defend themselves quite effectively
Comparing the paracer and bronto
The paracer has : speed,dps,stamina,and platform saddle is learned at level 50
But also the paracer has : lower hp,weight and a smaller platform saddle
The bronto has :great weight, large platform,better hp and is the best berry gathering dino by far
But the bronto also has :lower speed,lower dps,lower stamina and the saddle is learned at level 82
PRO TIP: Slap a platform saddle on this bad boy. And search "Elemental Mega Farmer" on YouTube to find a build that will allow you to farm infinite weight of resources!
Way better than the bronto in terms of size speed and mobility
If youβre trying to pick between a bronto and one of these guys, absolutely take these guys, theyre better all round, and yes, the platform is a lot smaller, but itβs all you need on PVE, and it does the job nicely, whether you need metal, to move dinos, whatever, these guys gotchu
