Over all I think paracer gives more prime then any other Dino, with less work I have never not had prime from one of these and there easy to kill with giga or Rex... brother loves to charge them and he's not died yet...
They attack then run away... wait around and it will come back.
first few times I let them go only to be in another fight when they decide to sneak attack for that reason alone kill all that you see...
Unclaimed these on island as I really don't like them but on scorched earth you either use this and Connor or rocket launchers, cheaper to use cannons

Use 12 trank darts with the long neck rifle works like a charm if u want better get it stuck between big rocks so I wouldnβt run away
Lure it away from the swamp and shoot it with tranq arrows. It will be 20+ arrows used. Don't forget to run when shooting or just make a trap.
When knocking these guys out, DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THEIR SPEED. Even though they are slow they can easily catch up with you. I learned the hard way by trying to back pedal it like a bronto, but it hit me and got me down to half health. When I started chasing it, I thought I was about good, then I ran into a lvl 115 carno that would've killed me if I didn't have my therizino close by. While I was being chased, the paracer passed out, so all I had to do was kill the carno and feed the paracer.
(This should probably be in stories but at the same time it's kind of a tip...)
You can make a house on the platform saddle and on the porch a cooking pot to make beer to crack open a cold one with the boys
The only dino that'll agro an unconscious paracer is a Rex. So if those are taken care off and your cautious about not bringing in extra friend with you. You don't have to worry about other creature damaging your tame.

Mount a industrial grill on the paracer platform and have it follow u whilst on Rex or giga then when u get prime jump on paracer and put prime on grill
Best way to tame this boi.
First. Get a raft and take it to a swamp or wherever he spawns.
Second. Get 40+ tranq or Toxicant arrows get the raft and have someone else drive it (if solo shoot then drive).
Final. Make sure while you shoot it then have the person drive it near land so it does not get knocked out in water and drown. Then shoot until knocked. Canβt use bolas for this boi so good luck.
These guys r a super easy tame! Even if you are low level and havenβt unlocked the saddle yet, def tame it as it will be great protection for the base if smth strong comes. I have one called Barry and I take him everywhere!
Try to find a lone paracer since they roam in herds outside the swaps. Trying to knock a paracer out when it's near other paracers is an easy way to die.
