For those Playing on Official, you cannot sheer them for wool but putting points into health and then slaughtering then yields more Mutton and Wool.

So I never realized until today cause I barely did any research into sheep thinking they're only good for mutton but come to find out they can serve another purpose. Wool. You can shear them with scissors to get wool and you can use it as alternative to pelts. Must have for Fjordur when you wear Fur armor constantly. 😆

I just use them for a bunch of spoiled meat

Using a chainsaw (preferably one from a bp) and a character with decent melee is the best way to harvest besides a maxed out therazino. With a basic chainsaw, 200% melee, and a 145 ovis... I got over 100 mutton, 1K weight in pelt, and 2K hide

They spawn near blue ob, black sand area near redwoods and that’s the only places I found them for now

We really need Ovis's in mobile ark. taming would be so much simpler if we didn't have to use kibble.

You can use a pair of scizzors on it to gain wool

If you put them on wandering in a pen with a wandering Phioma they will both get pregnant make sure they both female though they don't ever give birth though it's woerd

ONLY level up it’s health BEFORE ur about to kill it that way it is much more easy to kill

DO NOT LEAVE MATING ON!!! I left mating on and I now have unclaimed sheep walking around my base! Get this to the top so others know how to not make this happen!

Level health and harvest with a chainsaw for a boat load of hide pelt and mutton :)

Never more than 4 wild on the map at a time.. stick near snow biome for best chance,wild Ovis can be carried in single player mode by an argentavis..
