When tamed it can be carried by a PT and pick up a Wyvern egg without agrro

The egg laying buff is given to nearby tamed Dino’s when the Oviraptor is put on wandering, creatures that lay eggs like Dino’s and birds will lay unfertilised eggs more frequently, the egg laying buff DOES affect those that don’t lay eggs (like mammals for example) but they don’t benefit from it since they don’t lay eggs

I suggest going for a low level and just upgraded weight and speed. At a low level they still need heavy eggs but they wont need as many of them. You need weight cause the eggs are heavy and speed just so it can get around your base faster.

It is now painfully clear that oviraptors do not survive on berries. RIP baby. They do seem to mature faster with eggs though, if they can hold the weight.

Use these guys to get eggs from the wild no agro throw them out of cryopod in nest turn on follow and presto ...... your welcome ;)

In ASA, leveling an oviraptors Melee damage increases its egg collecting range.

When u taming an oviraptor make sure it doesnt have any eggs on it till it is starving feed it then tame you can use it to steal wild eggs it is a cheese you get eggs for fck- days it so good

Oviraptors are an easy knockout tame, then feed it Rex eggs.

ATTENTION: THE HIGHER THE LVL OVIRAPTOR, THE FURTHER AWAY IT CAN PICK UP EGGS.

It is very important you breed for the highest lvl possible to get the max range with an oviraptor. It does NOT matter what stats are out into it. MELEE will do nothing! It’s the OVERALL LVL.

You want a high level oviraptor and put all levels into melee. Melee damage affects the size of area they pick up eggs. Then put your ovi on lowest follow distance, line them up next to a fridge and put railings round them. You can move the eggs to the fridge really easy then not have to worry about the wanderer skedaddling

Even though maewings lay eggs they dont seem to be affected by oviraptors to lay more eggs.

You want to boost your dino’s eggs production but the Oviraptor keeps getting too far.

Well, put stone in its inventory. If it is encumbered, it won’t move but still give egg boost.

if paired with ptera step 1 pickup the ovi step 2 find an egg step3 drop the bomb and you'll have to be very precise with this one

It can pick up dragons eggs the eggs don’t shrink in it’s hands tho😂🤣💀(I don’t know how to spell the actual name of them so I am calling them dragons I now how to pronounce it wivwn not how to spell it)

To activate the egg laying buff, you must enable wandering.

And to keep it in one spot you can either encumber it’s weight or put it in a cage.

Egg buff don’t affect scorpions. (Immensely disappointed, I got the ovirator for the sole reason of buffing my pulmonos, tryna get kibble for rex, turns out all a wasted effort)

These little dudes will become your best friend for kibble production

You can bring it in a cryopod to wyverns nests and have it follow over nest to steal eggs with no agro

You can over burdened your Oviraptor and set it on wandering and he will still give off the buff.

This creatures ability is to steal eggs without alerting their parents however this ability only works when he is in the nest and set to follow you so use this to your advantage and steal things such as wyvern eggs
