Using a lvl 30 ovi and a lvl 250 PT for Webern eggs, wish me luck (no joke my PT can take out a lvl 50 wyvern, I dunno if that impressive but it impressed me) one 🥾↗️ means you want to hear bout my results! This is my first ever wyvern egg run! (I’ve played ark since it came out, I’m just so lazy I just never wanted to prepare for a wyvern egg run, on my original The Island game I had 30 snails and 20 dung beetles with 5 bees, I spent time with them individually basically every day, yeah, that just shows how much I sit around irl and in ark)

Said would take 6 min and 2 basilisk eggs to tame on Asa during 1x. It took 4 and twice the time. Let the food drop more than recommended

Breeding oviraptors is easier than taming if you don't have your own giga egg supply.

DO NOT USE WYVERN EGGS, THEY ARE BAD.

It says 1 Yuti egg i gave it 2 and each raised the bar by 3% for a level 90 so i killed it (ARK ULTIMATE MOBILE EDITION)

These guys are hard to tame because you have to feed them eggs. I use a bola and Dodo eggs and they work fine.

If you have tranq dart you don’t even need to bola it

Don't waste your wyvern eggs on these. Would think it would be a big boost but no only 2%on a lvl 20 on official servers...... waste

It will run away from you it’s very fast but for some reason it runs to the water

You can bola it but make sure u do it from a far distance as they tend to freak out when they get near u :)

You can tame it with Dodo eggs, just just need more, ~10 for a level 1.

Unless you have one of the top 6 eggs listed on this app, stick to small ones. The lighter the egg, the faster they eat it. Unless it’s one of the top 6, they all give it the same amount of points for taming. For example, a Rex egg will tame it faster than dodo eggs, but dodo vs. titanoboa? The titanoboa will take longer to eat, but you’ll need just as many in the end. At least on Mobile. Just get a ton of light weight eggs and go at it.

Use it as giga bait. I do and I have 37 gigas

They're pretty easy to knock out, 1 tranq arrow should work. But I can never get enough eggs to tame one.

Since I can’t find ANY info on if eggs such as rock drake, wyvern, and magmasaurs do better than giga. I experimented. (For those saying why waste expensive eggs like this, try your hand at the crystal isle map. I have tamed wyverns before even seeing a giga, and if your server has rock drakes on you’ll have more of those eggs than any giga eggs due to them rarely even guarding the nest they lay in and laying eggs super quickly)

My findings: they do very little to tame and can ruin taming effectiveness. A giga egg full tamed where a wyvern and rock drake egg did 5%. However, I can say they work great for boas. Hope this helps.

If you've tamed a ovirapter be careful if you have a baby Dino because mine ate all my baby parrasaurs.

For those in ark ultimate

The best way you can tame it without lots of eggs is by

Bringing around 4 medium sized eggs

And spend around 60 keys to speed up taming twice

Then congrats for the egg speeder

I tamed by 1 spino egg n 10x shooting balm

It took 1 minute 😂
