When taming these make a bola and a club and get a egg that you would get at the start (dodo, dilo, etc..) use the bola on it and hit it with the club on the head repeatedly and when it is knocked out put the egg in and let it tame.

Steps

1. Fly to wyvern nest.

2. Release Ovi and set him to follow.

3. Ovi picks up wyvern egg.

4. Take egg from Ovi, with no agro.

5. Cryopod Ovi and repeat.

These guys are very skidish and will bolt if u get too close

One time I knocked one of these out to tame it. It almost died, and in the end, I didn’t realise that it needed eggs, not meat to tame. Sorry for nearly beating you to death little oviraptor.

Wanna be a pro? Use these to steal wyvern or magmasaur eggs. Land unpod let it steal the egg and fly away no aggro. Also works for drake eggs but they need a mushroom brew since they aren’t immune to radiation.

You should bring this and a pteranodon to a wyvern best, the Wyverns won’t get angry at you if your oviraptor holds the wyvern egg, as long as you don’t aggro any Wyverns u good, as soon as you have access to a pteranodon saddle, a pteranodon and an oviraptor, you can get some wyvern eggs, the hard parts getting the milk.

Take the lowest level one you can find. No matter the level it gives the same egg boost

idk is this tip would help anyone but i noticed they have weight reduction on stone???? i just put some stone on it to keep it stay in place so it won’t wander away and the weight of stoke reduced!!! :-)

Does anybody know if you can tame them with fertilised eggs instead of unfertilised ones?

These guys are fairly shy, so bring a bola, a bat and a healthy supply of eggs if you want one in your base. I have never successfully tamed one, (which I would love to xD) however my past experience has proven that bolas work on these guys and that once knocked out, they prefer bigger eggs (tame a female Diploducus for best results, but be warned, as you might want to upgrade your inventory a few times before attempting to carry the eggs or tame the Oviraptor while it is near your base. Again, I have never personally tamed one of these, but I know how it goes as I have managed to knock them out before.

I wanna get one of these guys so bad to get a wyvern egg but I abously don’t wanna use giga eggs or questzle eggs. But also don’t wanna use Rex or spino eggs. Don’t wanna tame two brontos just to tame an oviraptor. And it takes to many carno or other eggs. Ugh

You need to know if you don’t have like 30 eggs you won’t be able to tame it. I tried gave it like 10 eggs and it barely did anything. Plz up people need to hear so they don’t make the same mistake. PEOPLE NEED TO HEAR!!!!

On official go for one that’s lvl 15+ this increases your chance of triplets greatly also do not over burden them put them in a cage they fixed it so they don’t escape keep all the female dinosaurs centralized around it this will help them lay eggs even without a male they do not collect your tames eggs they collect wild if they are on wonder so It could be beneficial to trap wild Dino’s in a pen with it on wonder they also eat meat after tamed they do have a knockout boost on their head so go for those head shots
