Tips & Strategies

It's an easy tame have at least 100 of any other eggs dodo eggs most likely or 1 giga egg etc but the egg effect stacks up to 3 times so tame up a bunch of them also if you move different Dino's away from each within a certain radius they will poop more eggs to Γ°ΕΈβΒΓ°ΕΈΒΒ»
More Oviraptor Taming & KO Tips
the oviraptor can steal eggs wiithout making the dinosuar that layed the egg angry just find a egg and lead it to the egg and it will pick the egg up!!! btw if u r planning to tame these they only eat eggs up if it is helpful!
Tame the lowest level one so you don't waste your eggs, no matter what level it is it will do the same thing
Remember after taming they WILL EAT MEAT DONT WASTE ANYMORE EGGS ON THEM THEY'RE NOT LIKE TITANBOAS.
So their easy to knock out, taming it.....not that easy, they eat eggs. The larger the egg, the more efficient it tames. You can tell the size by the weight of the egg. These guys are very useful, put them on wander in your base, and they'll collect all your creatures eggs.
Tried using Magmasaurs eggs but they are classed as other eggs and only gave 1%.
During the Easter event you cannot take the ones with bunny ears! They just die. We tried 8 times to tame a bunny oviraptor and they all died, donβt waste your time and just find a normal one!
Oviraptors will only cover a set area, make sure you place it near the Dino's you intend on farming eggs from. Otherwise you may want to tame multiple ovi's for larger Dino pen's.
Encumber them so they don't move around
You could use this guy to get eggs
First off, if you're on official rates and you don't have access to a giga egg, get comfy cuz you're taming dodos for the next 2 hours. One male and as many females as you can. They have a chance of laying an egg every time they poop so even though you literally need like 200 for a mediocre Ovi, it still might be faster than waiting for another creature to pop out enough for you. Secondly, do find a way to trap it before you knock it, ANYWHERE that isn't near those dang ichthyornis birds. I had just knocked an oviraptor once when that bird swooped down and just like that I no longer had the amount of eggs I needed. It's happened with narcotics too. Just stay away from those avian beach bums. Third and last of all, the ovi will NOT hold all the eggs it needs to eat all at once. So you'll have to pay attention and keep adding eggs as it eats. This guy needs some serious babysitting while being tamed, but the buff is definitely worth it.
