New to the game, I just saw the word raptor & kept my distance since I was jumped by a few in that area. They kept spawning behind my beachfront base. Then I tranq'd 1 and caught it. Then realized their value in auto collecting eggs. I accidentally drown him and cant find nor catch any. My arrows kill them instantly. π

Nothing attacks these guys, but they do run flee from corpses, so it means a creature's been killed near it by something dangerous.
You'll encounter these guys in the grass lands, beaches, and redwoods.

I was incubating alpha wyvern egg when a I see a oviraptor chilling next to me. I thought he was harmless but he left with a 178 alpha wyvern egg T-T
If they get to close to anything they freak out and run away so keep your distance.
