How to tame this guys first build a trap like a house but no roof but you are able to need penetradon with saddle and 1 more built a 1 foundation 3 walls 1 foundation and 1 one door but we don’t need door only thatch because oviraptor won’t attack the trap here are the steps how to tame but make sure you have alot of eggs or use soothing balm
1st:find an oviraptor
2nd:if you found 1 grab it with penetradon
3rd:get the oviraptor to trap
4th:check your eggs to make sure if you have alot so you need alot of female creatures or still to wild dinos some eggs
5th:knock it out with only wooden club you don’t need trands because you put it to trap you don’t need to use bolas
6th:i recommend to use soothing balm like 3x or 10x
7th:feed it with eggs
8th:surprise you have oviraptor have fun
they have secret ability they will steal eggs near to them no one will attack oviraptor and you.have fun with your new pet stealer
3rd:while grabbing an oviraptor bring the oviraptor to trap

Tame the lowest level one so you don't waste your eggs, no matter what level it is it will do the same thing
Remember after taming they WILL EAT MEAT DONT WASTE ANYMORE EGGS ON THEM THEY'RE NOT LIKE TITANBOAS.
the oviraptor can steal eggs wiithout making the dinosuar that layed the egg angry just find a egg and lead it to the egg and it will pick the egg up!!! btw if u r planning to tame these they only eat eggs up if it is helpful!
You may be wandering, HOW TO TAME THEM. To tame them, knock them out, (fists, club, tranq arrows, etc.) and feed them eggs. Not meat or berries, eggs. IT DOES NOT MATTER, FERTILIZED OR NOT. Tried using Magmasaurs eggs but they are classed as other eggs and only gave 1%.
Encumber them so they don't move around
Oviraptors will only cover a set area, make sure you place it near the Dino's you intend on farming eggs from. Otherwise you may want to tame multiple ovi's for larger Dino pen's.
How to tame:
Step 1: FIND IT
Step 2: STEAL ITS CRAPPED OUT EGG
Step 3: BEAT THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF IT
Step 4: FEED IT ITS OWN EGG
Step 5: CONGRATS, NOW CHUCK IT IN THE SEAAAAA
In ASA, the Oviraptor has a setting for egg collection, and a the egg laying buff is turned on while wondering is activated. So over weight them till they the eggs weigh them down. PS they eat meat once tamed. Just keep meat in troughs or eggs will become lunch.
So their easy to knock out, taming it.....not that easy, they eat eggs. The larger the egg, the more efficient it tames. You can tell the size by the weight of the egg. These guys are very useful, put them on wander in your base, and they'll collect all your creatures eggs.
