MOBILE: Although they cannot carry more than one artifact, I did a tame request for my otter I left in a cave spot where I died with some items, and it retained said items, which I’m pretty sure can’t be done with other dinos, so that could be a plus

If you get extinction core mod you can get prime otters and get unlimited black and silica pearls

My otter named Soup has gotten me so many Silica Pearls, they’re extremely useful for that!!

Need a good shoulder pet? use a otter they keep u warm or cool they can hold artifacts and can be a bag they can collect fish and poerls and can be a incubator and be super cute best tame ever

Not a tip. A question can you use its E ability thing on mobile

- idk if you can reply to this but please if you can

You don't need to spend your resources building a trap you can just kill a fish then feed it to him or her

Well they says it can carry more than one artifact, maybe rumors I cant get more than one artifact of the same kind. Please someone help reffer the reply to toekiekie

Taming an otter is easy u can also use a pt (pteradon) to pick it up if it’s in a dangerous and then u can tame it in a safe area.BUT the most special think about these guys are they produce warmth.so if u ever want to explore a cold place on the map and don’t have the right armor use an otter

These guys are sooo cute!!

My otter Chester is my first tame and my very loyal friend. He took down a Theri along with my other tames without dying, which was surprising. Tame these guys up, they’re worth it!!

They can cary bunch same artifacts. No other creature can do that!!! So bring otter in cave.... Hope this was usefull. XD

Best shoulder mount, as they keep you warm! Really cute too! :)

If you plan to keep some at your base, don't rely on your feedig trough... Rexes apparently eat fish (before meat), and eat a LOT. Couldnt figure out why mine were dying until I realized my rexes were eating all my otter's fish.

An overlooked virtue of the otter is that it functions as an artifact bag. You can stuff him with as many artifacts as his weight allows. A great tool for farming.

Can carry multiple of the same artifacts

This little fella/gal will also keep you warm if you keep them on your shoulders during cold times or in cold environments. Reccomend using in tandem with fur armor and torch for best results!

My otter ottus jumped into lava in the lava cave. Why did he do that?

When getting an artifact, bring an otter because they can carry multiple artifacts.

I don't know why, but mine seams to refuse to incubate the egg (mobile)

Otters work like dimetrons.u can hatch eggs with them

So this is a question and not a tip but my otter died of starvation and it had food so do only eat fish?
