If you get extinction core mod you can get prime otters and get unlimited black and silica pearls

Taming an otter is easy u can also use a pt (pteradon) to pick it up if it’s in a dangerous and then u can tame it in a safe area.BUT the most special think about these guys are they produce warmth.so if u ever want to explore a cold place on the map and don’t have the right armor use an otter

My otter Chester is my first tame and my very loyal friend. He took down a Theri along with my other tames without dying, which was surprising. Tame these guys up, they’re worth it!!

They can cary bunch same artifacts. No other creature can do that!!! So bring otter in cave.... Hope this was usefull. XD

If you plan to keep some at your base, don't rely on your feedig trough... Rexes apparently eat fish (before meat), and eat a LOT. Couldnt figure out why mine were dying until I realized my rexes were eating all my otter's fish.

An overlooked virtue of the otter is that it functions as an artifact bag. You can stuff him with as many artifacts as his weight allows. A great tool for farming.

Can carry multiple of the same artifacts

This little fella/gal will also keep you warm if you keep them on your shoulders during cold times or in cold environments. Reccomend using in tandem with fur armor and torch for best results!

When getting an artifact, bring an otter because they can carry multiple artifacts.

Can anyone tell me if you can put artifacts in this guy on mobile? I took one, one time on a cave run hoping to get multiple artifacts but the artifact didn’t seem to want to transfer from me to my otter?
