Otters are a great company for you if you love dinos the you can put on your shoulder

Use an Itchy to kill and give you a golden sabertooth salmon. Dramatically decreases the time to tame this creature. Good luck!

In ark ultimate edition mobile - if u want tame otter then follow methods.

1st kill a fish then collect meat and place on last hotbar.

2nd kill a fish and drag , then go near otter and when u tap , otter feed your fish meat which u place on last hotbar.

Here’s what you do you start by placing the otter box then you find an otter with is the hardest part then use your pteradon to pick up the otter and bring it to the box then all you have to do is drag fish in and voila

Easily tameable by putting in Argys mouth then feed it fish

Guys just don't waste your time trying to tame it on the mobile version of ark Because they don't carry any artifacts on mobile i learned that the hard way..

I just realised that on mobile you actually feed it raw fish meat.

They are really hard to find look in small ponds with fish

The easiest way to tame an otter is to first tame a kaprosuchus and then pick up the otter and hold it there then tame it that way

You can grab otters with argentavis beak and even land/dismount of your argentavis and it will keep the otter on its beak, then simply fish (preferency with your ichthyornis) and feed them.

The Argy has a 3rd ability that let's you pick up very small animals with its beak. Grab an otter out of the water using this and the Argy will hold it still in a safe spot on land while you go get a fish. You can feed the otter to tame while the Argy is holding it.

I love how on mobile you harvest the fish meat and passive tame it instead of dragging corpses to it

To tame you need to drag a fish over to them.

Idk if this is a bug or what but it seems that otters tame meter does not decrease.

I was taking an otter one time on the island pve official and forgot where it went and lost sight it.

Few days later found it in around the same area with the same progress as when I had left it.

I made quick work of taming it on the 2nd encounter.

These guys are a passive tame. You have to kill a fish then drag its body to the otter and press the 'feed fish' key. The easiest way to do this is with an argent. With your tertiary attack you can pick the otter up in your beak and it will stay there even when you land. Simply fly to a spot near fish and feed the otter while it's in the argent's beak. If you don't see the prompt to feed right away, drop the fish then pick it back up.

On mobile it’s a passive tame with any fish meat

I like otters I just saw bad boy otter from Dodo kids

On the new mobile ultimate edition this guy eats anything but dragged out fish

But you do have to drag a dead fish to it anyways so it can eat whatever you have in your last hotbar

When looking for otters, you can enable a parasaur's turret mode and carry it with an argy and fly across the river bordering the snow biome. (The Parasaur marks otters as enemies)

Once I found an otter on the beach but it was eaten by a mega piranha
