I was playing ark in my single and saw a otter! I thought “sooo cute I wanna tame it” so I go and start clubing it I realize it was not gonna work and ran away to save the. Otters life. But the little bugger kept chasing me and I had to kill him. 🙇‍♀️Go ahead call me a monster

Tip** make them kill a brontosaurus. They take them out in a couple of minutes and take 0 damage because they’re too small for the bronto to be able to hit

I have one of these adorable fluffs. I saw one next to the river I usually start my travels to redwoods at. I saw an otter 1 min later, and I litterally gasped. But the scary thing was... There was a titanoboa, and I lacked fish. So I hunted fish in the lake, and then I fed them to the adorable floof. Then at 88% of taming... appeared an albino titanoboa! I was scared, but a trike was near so I was ok. The Titanoboa attacked the Trike, then the trike got aggro, and then anothwr trike also got aggro bc of the titanoboa attacking its friend. They kill the titanoboa. When I was a starter I saw an otter but.... I ATTACKED IT. I thought I could kill it and it was normal. But the floof was rare. THIS IS A PASSIVE TAME. NOT A KNOCKOUT. You need to feed it fish, or raw fish to make it easier, bc it spawns in lakes and rivers. Then you got a cute lil long ball of floof. My otters name is Otis the Cutie. You can put any hat on. Even the cloth hat! So cute. DONT KILL THEM. I BEG OF YOU. Or a grim reaper shall steal your soul and implant it inside a compy... lvl 1 to be exact. Otis the Cutie is lvl 25.

On ragnarock i was having trouble finding one to bring to the ice cave but I found 2 in that huge jungle lake right beside Viking bay. No I do not mean the bay itself or that place in the jungle with the log bridges over a pond. Well, happy taming! :)

All u need to know about otters🦦

1.They are found in the lakes near the redwoods

2. If u hear a chittering noise then there must be one close

3.if you found one then there is a high chance that there is another one💅

4. They are basically heaters or coolers 🔥❄️

How to tame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. Spot one , 2, wait for it to come out of the water 3,kidnap it with a pteradon(pick it up)4, take it to base or safe place 5, feed it 10 to 20 raw fish meat

And done !Now you have an otter

For Mobile ultimate you have to be dragging a fish and have fish meat in your last inventory slot. It is a passive tame, but won’t let you feed the otter the fish meat in your inventory unless you are dragging a dead one. I highly recommend scuba flippers and tank for following it around on an official server (since you cannot carry it with a tame). I found two in the pool just East of the redwoods hanging around a beaver and its dam.

Every time I have an otter they always $@&/ of starvation so I do what no other person would do. I kill them. By the way do not tell the otter goddess

For the people that are writing tips saying they can't carry artifacts:

THAT'S CAUSE YOU'RE ON OLD MOBILE LMAOOOOO

The only ways old mobile players can move artifacts is if they put them in an artifact pedestal (can't get it back lol) or die with it, then randos can loot your body and get a free artifact

On every version but old mobile you can freely move artifacts wherever you want, this includes storage boxes and tames.
