For the people that are writing tips saying they can't carry artifacts:

THAT'S CAUSE YOU'RE ON OLD MOBILE LMAOOOOO

The only ways old mobile players can move artifacts is if they put them in an artifact pedestal (can't get it back lol) or die with it, then randos can loot your body and get a free artifact

On every version but old mobile you can freely move artifacts wherever you want, this includes storage boxes and tames.

It’s not listed on Lost Colony, but you can find these on Lost Colony in the lakes. So far I found d one and tamed it. Be careful some of the lakes have piranhas.

For Mobile ultimate you have to be dragging a fish and have fish meat in your last inventory slot. It is a passive tame, but won’t let you feed the otter the fish meat in your inventory unless you are dragging a dead one. I highly recommend scuba flippers and tank for following it around on an official server (since you cannot carry it with a tame). I found two in the pool just East of the redwoods hanging around a beaver and its dam.

Use this combo to farm pearls...

Ichthyornis = Fisherman → brings back fresh fish.

🦦 Otter = Jeweler → turns fish into pearls.

To tame a otter, you have to kill a Fish, the Best one is salmon, drag the Fish to otter, and feed it. Repertuar that until it's tamed. If you have problems to tame it, kill bigger fishes, I prefer 1.5x and higher.

After you have tamed it, feed it raw Fish meat, and pick it up. Otter gives you higher hypothermic, and hiperthermic Isulation. It can have multiple artifacts, that ark the same. For example, you can have 3 artifacts of the hunter, in otter's inventory. Otter has very low hp, so pu point in his Heath stat, and give him helmet.

How tame one of these cuties in ark mobile!

1. Kill some fish or get some fish meat and equip the raw fish meat in hotbar. If you want, you can try building a trap, but I wouldn't recommend it

2. Hold raw fish meat in hotbar and approach the otter. If you have one, try useing a ichyosaurus or raptor if the otter is in water, its easier in my opinion.

3. Once you are close, tap on the raw fish meat. Continue this process until the yellow bar is at 100%

4. Put your little buddy on your shoulder and take him/her on your incredible ark adventures!

YOUR LEVEL 4 OTTER WAS KILLED BY A COMPY LEVEL 147...

Baby otters starve quick. Feed them raw fish asap

How to tame one: grab pterandon or argy to pick it up, bring it near your house and put it in the water so it won't starve. Get some prime or fish meat and feed and your done

(Ark mobile)

1) Load soothing balm and raw fish meat into your quick bar.

2) fly your ptera along the rivers looking for a wild otter

3) pickup the wild otter with your ptera

4) while your ptera is holding the otter, fly to a safe height, pan your view around to the rear of your ptera where you can see the wild otter info bar appear

5) force feed the wild otter the soothing balm and raw fish (using your quick bar) in complete safety, while it is held by your ptera.

By far the best shoulder pet. Keeps you warm and cool and gets black pearls for you. Just set it to attack target and have it on your shoulder as you punch a fish and let it do the work

If u see this run it is the most dangerous animal there is

Here are some tips about the Otter:

1-If you sent it to kill fish, it might give black pearls too.

2-If you are freezing, equip an Otter on your shoulders and it will keep you warm from the cold. (You can also use tek canteens with water that is set to hot mode to prevent freezing, and it can be the other way around, use cold water in a tek canteen to prevent overheating).

3-These are not the cutest creatures... why do i feel like my walls are gonna fall over?

Gives a insulation buff while on your shoulder. The higher the melee the better the buff

I would use a argentavis to hold it in place

I had an otter and every time I joined he was just sitting on the top of my house reminder I’m at the swamp

Where do thy spawn in regular map

I cant find any in the regular map

Jesus I have only seen one in the entire game, and that was at the beginning and I didn’t know how to tame it not Ik so much about it but I just can’t find one 😭

They are impossible I keep killing them plz hellp me I am struggling so much 😭
