For those who haven't read up on it recently the Noggin is supposedly going to be able to control dino and player minds.

I think I have an idea for this. When it controls you it would turn into a third person view, similar to when a raptor pounces on you. Then I think you will go around either attacking wild dinos or attacking your tames. I think that if you get attacked by a wild Dino it does damage to both you and the noglin. If your tames attack you it will leave you unharmed while the noglin dies. To tame it I think it’s either a tranq tame where you tranq your tames then it will fall of your tame for you to feed or it will be similar to the troodon by letting it control your tames and drains it until your tame dies then you get it. As a tame, it might let you take control of a wild Dino which will be its main food source, before it takes out the wild Dino the controlled Dino its on will be like a temporary tame. If you decide to tranq the wild Dino it’s on the noglin may suffer aswell and will either die or get knocked depending on the tame method. This is only my opinion so this won’t be 100% true.

Best way to tame.

Tame 6 145+ brontos, level them in hp

Pick nog up with and drop in large behemoth encased area

5 people fly above drop 1 bronto at a time as soon as it latches drop the next 1 on top of if, previous person cryos the hurt bronto.

Have snow owl to heal after and you can keep taming nogs all day

If you attach it to a Ovis then remove it you get mounds of mutton

You can actually use the noglin to fly birds underwater right now. Usually you get kicked off the saddle when you ride one into water, but with the noglin you aren’t riding it with your character. Also, when you attach to the bird and fly underwater it seems to have infinite stamina. One more thing, controlling a bird can be a great way to get into your enemy’s base so you can wreak havoc.

I'm finding that on servers with higher Wild Dino levels, 5 Brontos are not enough for max efficiency. And since Noglins will eat 5 dinos before they lose efficiency, they are impossible to get max efficiency when taming them.

They do 10 million damage when it comes off there is no way to survive it

Never tried it, but I’ve heard that reapers are immune to the mind control effects so if going into Rockwells innards highly recommend taming one rassklark has a video on how to tame a reaper on day one on genesis part two highly recommend watching that

I’ve tried everything to get one of these! Hours! Finally mastered it! Ok u find them at around 50, 29 on Gen 2. I go above the cave on the flat metal area.

1) kill all wild Dino’s in area (besides the noglins)

2) make sure u have a ton (I have like 20 tames) tamed from wild (not bred) Turtles & Diplos. (Either or both) All with great saddles for protection. All levels into health!

3) No trap, just got them out with a Dino leash set on medium. Noglins don’t like being trapped!

4) whistle them passive

5) find a noglin, if he’s far, u can net him & carry with a PT or other flyer & drop him in ur tame pile

6) if he runs instead of agro…then shoot him with a tranq dart with a basic level long neck to reset his taming.

7) if he starts to tame then u notice that he stops & starts losing effectiveness, then tranq him to restart! Don’t attempt to keep trying to get it back up, it won’t! As soon as u see it start to drop, RE TRANQ! And start over!

Noglins are going to be great, from what we know so far you can throw them at somebody and the noglin swallows their head and mind controls them temporarily and it works on animals too.

I just hope that it can mind control wild stuff.

These spawn all over Rockwell’s Garden, not just in the innards. They’re pretty rare though.
