Tips & Strategies

What are tips for noglin? Tips and strategies for noglin in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Once you start your taming process let the noglin attach to you to get 125% taming effectiveness then proceed with regular taming. You don't have to knock it out again if the taming goes down to zero.
Best way to tame use brontos must be level 202 brontos, put a saddle on each bronto. Health does not matter, spot your noglin that you want to tame, clear everything around the noglin, throw out one bronto and let the noglin agro to it, throw out the next bronto and in your taming bar track the noglin, every bronto will give you 20% taming. When noglin attach to next bronto pod the first one, if the noglin is not attached to a bronto you have 1m30sec to get it attached otherwise the taming % will start to drop.
Make sure all brontos health is full healed, the noglin will not attach easy to a half health bronto. Rince and repeat step one. Good luck and have allot of patience. If the taming drop to 0% nock it out and start over with full health brontos.
Enjoy its a annoying tame.
Ps make sure all brontos are on passive
My brontos kept killing the noglin as it jumped off. So I whistled all stop and it seems to do the trick.
You can only use a tame once, highly recommend 5 Turtles all on passive. Do not be on tame when the noglin mounts because it can glitch and will not latch onto tames after the first one. Finally if the noglin does glitch and doesn't want to latch onto a tame you can knock it out to fix it.
Don't use brontos use diplocus they can't damage the noglin like a bronto can for high leaves
The best way to tame him is with brontos and voidwyrms because they give him 20%.
To tame you just need some dinos with u like the troodon but your problem with the summoner
When using the noglin to tame creatures be careful not to remove the noglin from the creature too early or it woll istant kill the creature you are trying to tame
Where do I find it?
Cuz I wanna name it poglin
I can’t wait until they come out! -DragonGames6850 on Xbox 1
I play where the dino level is 300.To tame a 290 you need 158 turtles with 100k health
USE DIPLOS INSTEAD OF BRONTOS THEY DEAL NO DAMAGE AND USE CACTUS BROTHS TO AVOID MAKING IT RUN AWAY ALSO KNOCK IT OUT TO RESET THE TAME
knock it out with one arrow, then dump all your turtles inv too of it while it down. Easy way to do it, no need for a trap. A 150 takes about 16 turtles on 3x
If you are wanting to tame a noglin. Make sure to keep your distance and use high health and high defense dinos. (Try grappling them to a trap)
THEY DONT TAME OFF OF BRED CREATURES. Noglins only latch on to creatures that were tamed from the wild. Use voidwyrms and brontos for max taming effectiveness.
For taming a Noglin, there are two tames that can work for the taming process of a Noglin: Brontos and Carbonemys. You should tame about 6 - 8 Carbonemys/Brontos for the taming process as depending on the levels of said creature, it may die if its health isn’t high enough as it attacks other enemy creatures during the tame and damages the tame that the Noglin has mind-controlled. It is recommended that you tranq the Noglin, surround the Noglin with your taming dinos and your dino gates while the Noglin is out cold. Keep an eye on your tame and if all goes well, then you should have your very own Noglin! Enjoy and i hope this helps someone.
To tame a noglin use brontos that are at least lvl 100 each with 5 of them and bring a different bronto after the other got controlled and so on, now you have a noglin
So after trying to tame one for a little bit I can confirm that the dino size matters my shadowmane has 50k health and only gave about 6% health also matter but not as much as size.
Some dinos cannont be used all together as my kentros all with 65k hp + were not even being mind controlled.
I am currently now breeding Brontos to tame them, and would highly recommend using them for max effectiveness make sure your dinos are healed to full health and that the noglin is either trapped or far away from creatures and fly traps as the traps will eat the noglin of your controlled dinos head.
Rex: 4% with 9k/12.5 health
Shadowmane 9% with 51k/51k hp
Brontos i hear give 20% per bronto with assuming leveled health
Void Wyrm: 20% sane as bronto
I learned all of this on a semi boosted server with 5x taming and a wild dino level of 300 max.
Use brontos they are better check out rasscalrk on YouTube he hasa turorial on how to tame it.
