This little gremlin has a suicide wish as it likes to kill itself. The way I have so far tamed 15 of them at levels 30-190 is by utilizing 6 brontos, and 6 behemoth gates. Start by placing 6 behe gates closed in the last sloped area in rockwell innards or trapnit someway shape or form. Make sure the bottom of your behemoth gates is closed off allowing the noglin no exit. Make sure it is a big enough trap for brontos to move in. Once made use a flyer, skiff or grapple hook(need a gullie suit) to bring it to the trap. Once in uncryo the brontos or lead them in one by one and have them on passive. Hover dorectly above the brontos head and if need be slowly drift in a circle. Make it chase you but not ever attack, as the noglin will kill itself with the brontos tail. Keep that up for 5 brontos bring extra of need be and make sure the noglins aggro on you and nothing else or they will likely kill themself or your brontos.

Don’t try tame with bred creatures!…the percentage of each Dino for it can vary and is unreliable…use wild creatures for best outcome!…brontos and voidwyrms seem to be best for 100% taming effectiveness.

Find one using a snow owl then knock it out make sure to have lots of dinos w/high health and decent saddles then box it up using fence foundations then make walls out side of that maybe even using Dino gates then just sit back and watch so it doesn’t mind control you

If your going to tame a noglin and you want it with 100% taming efficiency use voidwyrms or brontos me personally I used a bronto because it’s less expensive but if you already have 5 voidwyrms definitely use them but make sure to track the noglin and put your dinos on passive before he mind controls them or else your Dino might kill the noglin.

You can't tame noglin with bred creatures.

Just found out that you can not clone noglins

I recommend using brontos, though a tank like dino can fit in the innards and use preferably levels 200+ anything lower gives lower efficiency and 200+ brontos are one of not so many dinos that give 20% tame each on good level noglins.

After your done mind controlling whatever dino, it kills it immediately after no matter how strong it is!

Noglin has many useful features my favourite is when you throw two noglins at a creature you want to breed such as two wyvern and breed them till you get a egg so pretty much all you need now is two Noglins to make an army of baby wyverns sadly the noglin has five minutes so maybe use a creature that can breed fast enough before it dies or join a boosted server

I don't recommend taming these guys in PVE, but I can tell these are gonna be OP in PVP. Keep in mind once mind controlling a enemy go up to it and take the noglin off the enemy and it will instantly kill the creature. So you can technically kill a giga with this thing.

Turrets and parasaurs can’t detect the noglin so I wonder if you can attach c4 to it 🧐. You all know where I’m going with this. ;)

So Noglins are used to tame Walls on Gen 2 map. You take your Noglin, throw him at the wall and wall is gonna instantly eat your Noglin. Still not finished with taming that wall.

On 3x you need about 30 turtles for a 174 noggin

noglins are able to control creatures up to their own level, they can control gigas, but only for 2 minutes, normally 5 minutes, be careful if using to tame, as they will kill most creatures by disconnecting (i tested gigas and brontos, and it killed the bronto but the giga took no damage) you can throw them onto creatures by double tapping f, and they will instantly connect.

Imagine being able to Mind Control a wild Giga to mate with your Tamed Giga...or control/kite it & the Titanosaur to an enemy base.

OR make it so the darn Hesperornis, Tapejara,

& Quetzal you're trying to Tame stays put in 1 location long enough to trap easier.

Maybe just affect Taming Effectiveness/Speed. Or making Imprint Bonus go OVER 100%

If taming one of these you will need: 5 nets, harpoon, 10 Rex or any large creature, 4 Dino gates.

1. Find one and net it

2. Put the 4 Dino gates up so nothing can get in or out

3. Throw out your Rex’s or large creatures and let the taming begin

4. The noglin should take control then kill them

THIS IS A MIND CONTROLLING MONSTER OF DOOM noobs if u see these get away ASAP

Step 1 : get a wild tame void level 150 +

Step 2 : clone it 5 to 6 times 6 to be safe

Step 3 : let said noglin mind control your voids

They changed the taming again. It makes any tames you sacrifice wild and aggressive. Thumbs up to save a life

Guys, don't breed wild creatures with a noglin. You are getting a baby with lowest possible level and stats. Imagine taming a creature with 0% effectiveness, getting no bonus levels, then breeding it. Not worth.
