First two animals I tamed. Named them Waddles and Wobbles. Whistled for them to attack a dilophosaurus. They ran away, leaving me to fight the dilophosaur alone with a spear. Spear broke. I died.

Those two were out there wandering around on the beaches for months. I eventually found them again and killed them both to free up some taming slots.

My first tame was a low level moschops. I named it mOCH and labeled it with a terrible hand writing paint job saying “M O C H” on the side. Remember to label your moschops people
