Tips & Strategies

What are tips for moschops? Tips and strategies for moschops in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
In ARK: Survival Ascended, these cute little guys are the best prime meat gatherers we have so far. Just put all their points into “Raw Prime Meat” then you should end up with around 400% maxed out. It’ll literally slot cap itself on 1-2 babies. Way better than the Carcha or Giga but it requires leveling to get to that point.
So, I was testing some stuff regarding my Tapejara that I tamed a few days ago, when he went and attacked a Moschops (I had it on aggressive), so I had to test this, and my results show that, contrary to the wiki, a Moschops CAN in fact be tamed when UNCONSCIOUS. However, you are going to want a ton of Mejoberries and a ton of Narcoberries to keep it asleep. The taming progress shall go up by 34.1% every time it eats one Mejoberry. I will report back later with a time-frame as well as how it compares to other knockout tames. Bring multiple stacks of each berries mentioned here (a Stego will greatly help in this affair as well as guard the Moschops while it peacefully sleeps) (I had my Tapejara guard instead because he was closest to the Moschops) and be sure to feed the Moschops at least 50 narcoberries every time it drains it’s torpor to half. Again, I will report back with time-frames and time-comparisons to other knockout-tames.
This dino can beat a T-Rex and also a alfa raptor when it is a high level. Very good tame and extremely recommended for beginners and even mid game. You should definitely tame this dino. If you're lucky the moschops will only request rare flowers or even berries, but if you are unlucky it will ask for giant bee honey or prime meat.
As mean as it sounds if you can find one with a baby kill the parent then imprint on the child, I tend to do this with most Dino’s and a lot Dino’s can be tamed this way
It knock out tame too.uryditdoyfyofy
How2Tame #5: Moschops
Welcome back to How2Tame! Today were taming Moschops
1. Gather berries and put them in your hot bar
2. Find Moschops
3. Passively feed it berries
4. If you dont know what passive taming is check my lystrosaurus tip
5. When tame bar reaches 100 you got yourself a moschops
6. Name it and care for it
7. Occasionally pet it to help it level up faster
Goodbye all, And I, Zeta, sincerely hope this helped. I feel everyone should have at least 1 moschops, but that could be just my opinion. Apologies for lack of capitalization and possible sloppiness, I do not have much time on my hands right now. Well, goodbye for now and find tip 6 in Carbonemys
Would recommend to tame i got a 130 and it has 1650 health really good early game. If you see one thats high level tame it!!! Hit the arrow to the sky if this helped
If you knock them out put lots of berries in their inventory and other stuff they like and then you might be able to tame it easier either use a tranq arrow or you could just knock it out using your hands with the help of a dilo
Kill it
Don’t hesitate it won’t take long (unless high level)
You can slowly approach it and shoot tranqs but make sure it gets stuck or runs directly to a rock that it cant outrun or run around it after that it will go unconscious without escaping and you will be done just feed it after
NOTE not all of them need to be beat up some you can feed mejoberries or tintoberries and can be handfed
If you want to tame a really low level like 1 to 5 level then just give me 2 mejoberries or tintoberries and you are gonna have a good friend soon
Ok so if you attack a moschops and you get in front of it, and you have no armor it will KILL you. If you have chitin armor it will break 2 peices of your armor.
Kill a Trilobite and you will get more than 100 Chitin
If you see a moschops RUN it can one tap and it eats organic polymer like breathing air.
Hellspawn Moschops Idea
ℹ️They should add hellspawn versions of all creatures. Hellspawn creatures are untamable, but the hellspawn essence is detectable by the red glow in the creature's eyes. These creatures will take on anything within their bounds, and they drop their normal resources when dead. They also drop 10x of a resource they can gather, though, as this means creatures that cannot gather anything will simply drop their normal resources you harvest. These creatures will take on dinosaurs and other creatures of every size. Could you imagine seeing a parasaur run from a dodo? I can, because I once tamed a dodo, named it Hellspawn Dodo, and set it on aggressive and it killed 7 lystros, 3 dodos, and an entire parasaur! Try doing this with spinos and megalodons. It'll be like they have raibes. If you use this skill on 35 pegomastax, you will be overflowing with valuables in a day !
How do I ride the dinos on phone version?
Get a mejoberry and feed it to them and thats that
