ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion
Tips & Strategies

I play ark mobile on Brutal difficulty(xp gain is nonexistent and wild creatures go up to level 450) and this has been my most valuable tame since I started. Yes, it is a coward, but it is crazy useful. Mine is level 407 after taming, and it has survived EVERYTHING the game has thrown at it so far. I highly recommend taming one as soon as you start the game(not difficult to do and I tamed mine while at level one.) Here are the main advantages:
1: Tanky, so you can use it to take attacks from something while trying to knock it unconscious. Also, you
don't really need to worry about it dying if yours is a decent level,(A level 50 one can have about a thousand health in the wild and might gain a lot more after taming if you are lucky.
2: Crazy good at gathering resources(In a resource rich area, mine collected almost 5000 thatch, a thousand wood and a thousand berries in the span of 3 in game days. Set it to wander if you want it to go collect things for you)
3: Surprisingly strong. While attempting to tame a knocked out stego, accidently killed it with a single attack(Around 300 damage, and yes, I know mine is a ridiculously high level, but my level 40 one with mate boost and a few points in melee hits for about 80).
4: Because they're pretty easy to tame and pretty light on resources to do so, even if it is a high level one (mine only took around 11 berries and a good deal of patience.) You get a lot out of taming one, and because they are easy to get, they are a must have for new players.
More Moschops Utility Tips
This guy is my favorite dino to start. It can farm LOTS of fiber, chitin, berries, rare mushrooms, rare flowers, polymer, etc. And it has a considerably good melee and health. But people don't see its value just because its a big coward iguana... Lmao. But for real, they're really one of the best dinos to get at the beginning, if not the best. Give this an up to let people know.
Canβt ride in ark mobile
The best beginner fiber collector. Set it to wandering and near ferns and the next day youβll have more than 2 stacks of fiber.
Never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER, whistle attack target on a Dino that isn't dead. It will run off, never to be seen again.
Why has ark forsaken us
This creature you can't ride in mobile
Moschops is literally one of the best chitin and polymer farmers, if not the best. Kill trilobites with it and you'll see how much chitin it gets (and a bit of oil and pearls too). I spent the last hour killing trilobites with Potato (my Moschops) and got two chests full of chitin. Apparently people don't know this so give it an up to let everyone know.
Btw for those who don't know, they used to be unrideable in the previous ark mobile "Ark survival evolved" but now in ark ultimate they are rideable by the player.
Also try to tame one of these early game to be really set on any future dino you want to tame. If there is a farmable resource out there, this guy will farm it.
No one believes me when I say itβs a godly early tame collects fiber, berries and organic polymer and with the base damage of a Barry can easily Beat raptors and with enough levels can beat rex
Up for my first moschops Barry
You can not ride on mobile I am mad
Make it so we can ride it plssssss mobile
