Will ask for tintoberry to tame
In aberration pick with crab so you don't have to chase it, crab keeps it in claws when dismounted, also put on wander and it will collect your fiber in aberration. Just be aware of dinos that will attack it.
Best thing to do is give them something easy cause if they are low level it only takes one food item
On mobile, you don’t need all these rare items, just berries and whatever is in your inventory. If you have rare items tho then moschops will eat em.
I had a massive family of casteroides causing trouble and building dams near my base, but after a while they migrated elsewhere, and left the dams all for me! I raided the dams, got 126 rare mushroom, and fed up a moschops lvl 36 with it! He is a living fibre farm!
Don't ko them just give them those light purple berries DO NOT KO THEM
So, I found one in a jungle and it only took 2 tintoberries... so pack up berries, food, dodo eggs, kibble, any other egg, and any meat!
Best early tame, create simple trap or feed and follow, i tamed a lvl 3 while is was only lvl 2, became best friend, loved riding him around killing dodos/dilos and gathering berries, fiber, wood and thatch.... If taming is set to x3 or during an event they are sooo quick to tame... Only down side is they kick you off and run away if their health goes down too much...
Took 3 for a 145 on a 6x lowered consulpion server. Feed it once, left, got kidnaped joined a tribe (I was new to server) eventually found it again and tamed it. Haven used it to full potential but a 240 something is excellent overall. Took 2 Flowers and a mejo and was a good early tame
Scour the map for that 150 or 140 until you find it,take it to a safe place, drop em in a taming pen and use a quetz with fridges and preserving bins to quickly keep and use all of its food, and it's as simple as that. Right?
The Moschops takes Tintoberries as well, make sure to correct the taming.
Hey Dododex, I found that they also take tintoberrys as a taming option, which makes taming it a little easier if you don't have the more rare stuff.
