There is only one way to tame it in PC version but Mobile version have two ways. First way, Go with Basilo or Itchy and tranq it in the ocean. I suggest Basilo because Electrophorus can stun you and ruin your adventure. Must take Scuba with you.

Second way, This is only for mobile players.You must have a Revival platform. First kill the mosasaur by your strongest water Mount. Don't harvest the body and take the Implant from it. Then place the Revival platform in water which must be deep enough otherwise your mosa will resurrect in Air and get killed instantly.

HEADS UP on my server it took 2000 spear nolts and 2 and a half hours to tame a 348 mosa

It tamed faster on raw meat than fish meat?????

I went looking for one, instead I found a alpha mosasaur, a liopluerodon, and a plesiosaur. I gave up on the mosasaur and settled for the plesiosaur. You find them at the bottom of the ocean, as well as the alpha, which is almost invincible, may I tell you, and the plesiosaur, which looks like the clown from your nightmares and is just as aggressive, just getting down there takes 15 megs, quite a few annoying ichthys, maybe a manta, oh, and the liopluerodon, and no, it’s not a ‘yay’, ‘cause they only stay tamed for half an hour. The electro dudes don’t help the strive, and neither do the anglers. The baso isn’t much of a problem, it’s body guards are. And it’s not even likely you’ll find one, nor have the oxygen to tame it. The levels for the saddles are obnoxious, isn’t it already a hard tame? Just saying, though they are pretty strong, they are VERY, VERY, VERY, hard to get.

next go around the map a couple times do a tidy save if you can't find one before you explore the plesiosaur cannot be knocked out from jelly fish and dumb eels

Last time I found level 6 moss to bad my toxicants arrows were out :(

It’s actually not that bad to tame this thing. The only problem is the ocean since everything wants to kill you. But if you clear everything, you don’t have to worry about it. Bring lots of tranq arrows and narcotics these guys have pretty high torpor and it goes down kinda fast but not that fast. If you have a Basilo that can tank, use them. If you have a Baryonyx that can tank, use it. Just watch out for jellyfish

I recommend a trap. Make it out of foundations, pillars, ceilings and a behemoth gate all in stone. Use an icthy with levelled speed and health to lure it in and close the gate behind it. Then simply tranq arrow it until it’s down. Preferably use at least an apprentice crossbow, prim will take way to long

Dont put a lot of tranquilizers in its inventory when taming because it will eat everything there when tamed and the constant rising torpor get annoying

Tame some use less creatures and feed to mosa and stay relaxed and feel free to knock it out

WARNING KEEP ALL CREATURE S IN PASSIVE AND ALSO HAVE A GET A WAY RIDE IF IT AGRO ON YOU OR TRYS TO KILL YOU AFTER KILLING ALL OTHERS

I PREFER BASILO FOR THE USELESS PART CAUSE THEY HAVE MORE HEALTH AND ITS PASSIVE TAME if you want any creature is ok

Tip for easy taming

1 there are 2 ways to tame find one then let it fallow you to the surface until it unaggros you then shoot with traqs

1 and a half, use a tuso to grab the mosa witch will do torpor then have a tribe mate also shoot it with traqs

2find a mosa I found a lot on hard mode from Carino island to green ob

3 when it’s unconscious feed it quets kibble but I used raw prime meat worked fine just took longer

4 rule the ocean

I found my mosa near a Florida- looking edge on edge of the middle right of the map. I brought a Ramshackle Crossbow and 150 Tranquizer Arrows (jelly arrows) and took it out with only 49. Used a soothing balm (X10) and fed it fish meat cuz my Ichy ate all my good food. It woke up at 47%, so I headed back to base to try again. This time, I used my same tool, and the Mosa still had the soothing balm on it so I was like 'yay'. I tranq it out again with 307 Bio Toxins and fed it prime fish meat (27% per bite) and it worked! Mine looks like a legit killer goldfish. I hope this helps!

Get a basilo with at least 20 k health, kill all danger around you and mosa. After that let the mosa attack your passive basilo and swim above the invisible line where it can’t cross and shoot it with your crossbow. Hard part is chasing it when it’s almost knocked out

Easy tame on genesis 2. Build 2 behemoth gates and block off a small section in the Crossway between the middle and NE quadrant. Leuer them in, shut the gate behind them. May need a good shark or something to fight off any thing else that follows you in. Should work for plesio and tusso too

Bring an Itchyosaurus with you since they're pretty fast and things won't aggro it (at least on Mobile idk about PC/Console). Have a LOT of tranq/toxicant arrows, and search for your Mosa. When you find one, shoot it and let it follow you up to the surface.

Mosasaurs have a certain depth they need to be so they'll stop aggro when you reach a certain depth (near surface) and go ham with your special sleepy time ammo.

Make sure to watch its HP and Torpor so ALWAYS BRING A TELESCOPE WHEN TAMING ANYTHING! Don't kill the poor guy.

Give it some soothing balm if you can and feed it some prime fish and so on, use BIO Toxin to keep it asleep (you can get some from Cnardias probably nearby). Boom! You've got the Giga of the sea.. Sorta.

HIT AN AMMONITE THATS NEAR A MOSA AND LURE THE MOSA TO THE TOP OF THE SEA! IT CAN GO THROUGH THE BARRIER IT NORMALLY CANT GO THROUGH THEN IT GETS STUCK SO ITS EASY FOR YOU TO KNOCK OUT

This tame is a long process amd can take a while to fond the one your looking for .

Get a tuso and grab him and drag him to surface. He will try to run because your so high up but that fine just re grab him. Then get him beached, in a trap or stuck in some rocks and there you go.

Easy tame if you use a Behemoth Gate trap, place four gates down and one door on each end, leave enough space you can swim through with an Ichthy, have one door on the gates at either end, leave one closed, get it’s aggro on lure it in, swim around behind it & shut the door. Tranq and kibble. Easy Mosa.
