The easiest way I have found to solo tame these is to find one you want and hope that there is an ammonite nearby.

Once you hit the ammonite everything nearby aggro's onto you.

When the mosasurus gets to a certain height like the shore it will simply stop moving.

It won't attack or flee, just sits there waiting to be knocked out .

Make it chase you into the underwater cave where it will get stuck at the entrance, then light it up with tranq darts or arrows or watever you use. Make sure to bring some kind of prime meat, and plenty of narcotics.

Some one have the answer to this help me. I went to two under water caves and attempted to tame animals. This large under water cave was attached to an above ground crystal cave. Glowing orange and had Bats,snails,acorpions etc. The underwater had sea animals. All the kinds that are hard to find Mozasaurs,Lepluradons,the scary squid. They were all greatly larger than normal and it wouldnt let me tame. Thwy would go unconscience no tame. Food correct in inventory just nothing. Gps 45.5,88.6 Let me know would love to bring home something. Ps bring a pack of Sharks its crazy hard in there.

Why get this when you can easily get a tuso (squid)

You have to get them they are amazing because they have a tek saddle and easy trank out

Tame with an icthy. In fact tame ALL ocean creatures with an icthy. They’re fast, Most things won’t attack them, you can use weapons on them, and a good level can kill big things. Don’t underestimate this friendly dolphin fish thingy when tamed.

To tame this creature you have to get two of these animals and then feed them and done

They should make a knock out gun to tame dinos that are hard to get like the alpha t rex or the weveryns!

There a easy way to tame this first you need a lot of meat second get a lot of bio toxin and get a revive platform put it in the water get amber revive it use shock darts and feed it and there you have a new water dinosaur

What about a smaller version of tuso that can be shoulder mounted and holds on like a backpack and gives faster swim speed

Just make a trap out of 9 behemoth doors with a little bit of free space between them and put a door on each side I solo tamed a 145 and it was very easy ?

Use Behemoth gate pen with 6 gates and 2 doors swim it in and close the entrance and gg u win

Do not fear jellyfish. Although it gets stunned, it has a massive health pool and attack range that allows instant kills on swarms of jellyfish.

They are very rare and best using in my opinion compound bow.

TIPP: Easy Taming

The Mosasaurus is a deepsea creature, that means you can easily knock him out with this Trick. (you should use a basilosaurus because of his health and the immunity effects)

1) Swimm down to the deepsea

2) Let the Mosa follow you up

3) If you swimm high enought he will stop chasing you

4) When he Stops chasing you, just shoot at him with tranqs (the higher your Crossbow damage the faster he gets knocked)

5) Repeat the first steps if he swimms too far away from you

6) knock him out and feed him some T-Rex Kibbel

7) Enjoy your Aquatic Giant

BONUS TIPP: He spawn around the carno Island and i would recommend to not go too far from your basilosaurus while shooting the Mosa Because you are f*cked if some eals appear and you cant mount your Basilo to kill them (He is immune to the Shocking effect)

I tame a level 76 no biggie then when I checked the effectiveness it said an extra 55 levels.Now I have the most unerfed broken underwater giga that absolutely destroyes every creature in existence with its melee being a total of 157,988

I used 3x as many tranqs as well need to update this
