[Mobile] First ever impression : I was looking up,down,left and right in the deep dark waters as i swim, and scout through with my Icthy. And then as i looked through my greenish tinted googles, my eyes set on a massive dark looking creature with a huge head, and a long tail moving in snake motion. I looked through the scope, and confirmed it was Lvl 30 Mosa. Massive, Majestic, and terrifying creature. I thought it was black color all those time. Only to find out later that it was Reddish brown. Tamed :)

Location : Northern waters. Start looking from Carno island area towards the Far's peek. Look, and sweep through the deepest, and the corner most part of the ocean. I found mine in the mid- Northern water.

Why the alpha one we're probably common than the regular one? I was about find one on the island hard mode n trying to tame mossa, and after some few time i sreach this i finally find it out but its alpha :// And it was level 20, its wildcard joking to me yeeet its make me n my tame die up :/

I just tamed it with raw fish meat and raw prime fish meat

I’m on ark mobile, and I usually check around carno island and herbivore island, only seen one up throughout those parts, I may need to expand my searching area, I recommend this, search everywhere.

A couple days ago I tamed a level 6 Mosasaurus. I used about 50 tranquilizer arrows (some were missed shots). I found it between South Zone 1 and South Zone 2. I led it over to the eastern end of the giant peninsula at South Zone 2 because there weren’t any dangerous creatures there. I gave it a soothing balm (I did this on mobile). I was actually riding on my Sarcosuchus to knock it out because I didn’t have access to the full set of SCUBA gear. I hope this helps you get a Mosasaurus for yourself!

I do this trick every time

Go and fight with the creature like snail

It give an effect that all the creatures will attack u

Then u will see at least one mosasaurs

But u need to have a good dinos with health

Can’t be forcetamed in brute cave I know from experience

If you've been shooting this thing with tranq arrow and then you need to go back to your base for something before you knocked out it, give up. This thing torpor drain rate is extremely high, missed shot is already a big mistake. You'll end up killing the mosa instead of knocking it out. Sarco is highly recomended for water mount, bringing army such as basilo is a stupid idea, mosa is the strongest water creature, your basilo won't survive. Use the pokeball thing to bring your basilo, i know mosas territory is so damn dangerous not because of the mosas, but the electric eels and jellyfish, also if your sarco has 500% damage or more, you could kill plesio and alpha shark without killing your mount, atleast in one vs one battle, not one vs herd.

I was trying to find silica pearls on my megalodon and I saw a mosa and a squid and I thought I was dead; I almost was dead

I maneged to find one and tamed it was hard I used a journeyman crossbow with tonic arrows it took about 30 but when I tamed it I made it into a living battleship.

I used 180 tranquilized darts trough the harpoon launcher he never fell asleep. Very mad right now'... I did all of that for nothing

so u need a tuso to tame a mosa but u need a mosa to tame a tuso...

If they do a tlc it would be cool if it could grab something smaller like a meg in its jaws and jump out of the water and bite and kill it instantly and immunity from being knocked off by jellies

It isn't as hard to tame these as u may think just find the invisible depth border that they can't go above and tranquility them. Also you will only need one scuba suit because u run out of oxygen put the scuba tank on regain oxygen then take it off and keep repeating that

It isn't too difficult. You only need to find a Big rock pilar ( not builded by a survivor), later you only need to swim and tranq the mosa(swimming around the acuatic pilar

In Fjordur you can gather runes from these alphas alot, you can get a Tusoteuthis and grab the alpha Mosasauras and get up from their cave and then let it go next to beach then get your giga and finish in a couple of seconds and enjoy your runes baby😂

Be careful taming these on fjordur. They can only be found in a cave in fjordur and theres a TON of them there... and you cant use their depth border trick in the cave...
