Get it high level and get a lot of them and you have a poop army

The mesopithecus is a herbivore and a passive tame.

•they can open enemy doors if you through them though a window.

•they can throw poo which damages slows and doesn’t allow the target to heal. (i don’t renner the time)

•I think it reduces the wait of some things like eggs but i don’t remember.

overall mesopithecus is a good pvp and pve pet.

Good starter tames on asa because they now can be a backpack and if u put them on nertrull they throw poop at your enemies be careful when tameing something or not on your shoulder or agrisve it can cause trouble and if PvP the can open doors

Tame a 135+ and you have a great companion. He/She can slow down attackers when on your shoulder by throwing poop at them (even alphas and brontos), collect berries when on wander and makes a surprisingly good guard dog in bases. I get mine to 1k health then pump melee. I usually get 400% minimum, that's 40 damage on a small, fast, pooping flinging creature. It'll rek wanna be intruders in your base, especially I'd you put a good helmet on it for armour.

if they hit an oncoming predator with a piece of poop, the predator will lose a lot of movement speed, its health will start getting drained, and its torpor will rise. you can use this to run away from a predator, defeat it, or just beat something up with it for your amusement.

My meso carries and hold feces. This comes in handy while I’m gardening.

Their ability to throw poop is actually really good for taming. I’ve knocked out high lvl trikes and carnos by just charging with my pachy and then running away to set up another charge. The monkey makes it so whatever you’re trying to tame can barely even move at you. It even completely eliminates a trike’s ability to charge at you. These are definitely good tames. Just make sure your monkey doesn’t hit the tame an extra time when it’s already knocked out, it’ll sabotage the taming effectiveness.

Get an army and have them throw poop at gigas

Basically it's like having a Dilophosaur on your shoulder that only spits. Useful for taming other creatures or escaping dangerous one's.

I got jumped by 5 troodons once, so it was safe to say I was passed out slowly dying

My armor was breaking

And I look around because I hear fighting

And my lil buddy was beating the ever loving crap (and throwing it) out of them, he barely took any DMG and murdered all of them in 1 or 2 hits

He is now so jacked on damage he can genuinely 1v1 a lvl 23 trike and win

Set up fences around your base and set it to wander. Do like 5 they are cute when they run around and gather berries and seeds. Can be better than crop plot if Melee is high! Cute too!

This guy makes a good taming assistant, it’s poop slows down it’s targets so you could slow down a Dino then shoot it to knock it out

Of course just in the game, the Mesopithecus is a valuable pet whether pro or not. It will throw feces at your enemies and can run very fast. It can basically be an automated turret on your shoulder. The feces poison the enemy and rapidly bring down their health and to add to it it also disables their ability to sprint and see correctly. What I have said so far mostly applies to single player so I will now go in to multiplayer. The Mesopithecus will help pick locks, break and enter, ambush, capture, kill, tame, and gathering. The Mesopithecus can do a high variety of things and be very fun to keep around. They are highly social and defecate excessively, probably even more with tintoberries, which both helps with getting more Mesopithecus and helping with farms ( Berries and Vegetable farms) both other than that their feces only litter the area. Of course you can eat them use them for fertilizer use them in recipes and all that. And , finally, the Mesopithecus is great for prankin.-Rosy
