if they hit an oncoming predator with a piece of poop, the predator will lose a lot of movement speed, its health will start getting drained, and its torpor will rise. you can use this to run away from a predator, defeat it, or just beat something up with it for your amusement.

My meso carries and hold feces. This comes in handy while I’m gardening.

Tame a 135+ and you have a great companion. He/She can slow down attackers when on your shoulder by throwing poop at them (even alphas and brontos), collect berries when on wander and makes a surprisingly good guard dog in bases. I get mine to 1k health then pump melee. I usually get 400% minimum, that's 40 damage on a small, fast, pooping flinging creature. It'll rek wanna be intruders in your base, especially I'd you put a good helmet on it for armour.

Took a video involving my Mesopithecus/Monkey while my Aligator/Sarco fought a Carbonemys/Turtle. I reversed it, and this is what I found that the lines turn into during a reversed video (this is an incomplete list, if I copy the comment I will let it be known at the top of the copied comment)

Their ability to throw poop is actually really good for taming. I’ve knocked out high lvl trikes and carnos by just charging with my pachy and then running away to set up another charge. The monkey makes it so whatever you’re trying to tame can barely even move at you. It even completely eliminates a trike’s ability to charge at you. These are definitely good tames. Just make sure your monkey doesn’t hit the tame an extra time when it’s already knocked out, it’ll sabotage the taming effectiveness.

Basically it's like having a Dilophosaur on your shoulder that only spits. Useful for taming other creatures or escaping dangerous one's.

An easy way to tame one is find it build a cage somewhere else get an argy or pterdon and gave him then wait for it to calm down and star feeding happy tameing😄134

Monkeys are cute and you can give them a hat! Crawl so they don’t see you (unless you get too close) and always feed them mejoberrys they tame it 10% at a time.

You do not knock them out to tame them just simply crouch behind them and feed them berries till they are tamed if u run to them they will run away

These guys are easy to hear but hard to see. When they run they are impossible to find. But having a monkey on your should is even more satisfying then destroying all those leeches in the swamp

Set up fences around your base and set it to wander. Do like 5 they are cute when they run around and gather berries and seeds. Can be better than crop plot if Melee is high! Cute too!

Use extra small eggs and craft basic kibble it's best way to tame it

Tame one of them now and jack the hp and damage

I got jumped by 5 troodons once, so it was safe to say I was passed out slowly dying

My armor was breaking

And I look around because I hear fighting

And my lil buddy was beating the ever loving crap (and throwing it) out of them, he barely took any DMG and murdered all of them in 1 or 2 hits

He is now so jacked on damage he can genuinely 1v1 a lvl 23 trike and win
