You can tame the things with Barries and you can use him or her to lockpickdoors in a pvp server and they also they throw feces at enemy's.

I was trying to tame a raptor and my mess was a 154 I knocked it out than a pack cam I was like WTH then meso threw poop at them and saved me best shoulder pet but my otter Oliver died to an alpha raptor🦧🦧☠️🐵🐵🐵🙊🙊

So I was trying to tame one of these with Mejoberries and for some reason his health was depleting and he ended up dying before I could tame him. I think he was allergic to Mejoberries

I tamed 37 of these with mejoberries. No crouching or crawling or even ghillie. Just simply feed ONE dodo kibble or be very careful and approach from behind. They are an adorable tame, and can equip hats!

If you get too close or bump into a Mesopithicus while taming, it runs away. It will usually stop running once it loses sight of you and you can try to tame it again.

Finding these guys is a pain in the *as, they spawn almost everywhere but they're extremely rare. Gaming them is easy, but before I found one of em I died like a million times

Ok to find it just look in the southeast part of the map (I play mobile so that map) then once you find one just crouch step behind it feed it then step back you need about 100 berries (preferably mejoberries) and once you’ve tamed it you can tame another then breed them but fail to feed the child via lack of kibble then breed them again and get a child then start super mutating them into giant mega beasts and reek havoc with a level 6000 mega monke and rule ark just to have it die to 3 gigas all attacking you while foraging for berries (somewhat based off of a true story)

Dude, these things are FRAGILE when in the wild. I literally found a female one to tame, but a Dilophosaurus had just then decided that she would make a tasty snack, so I stood my ground and rushed past the monkey, feeding her a mejoberry as I did so, and saved her at the same time by distracting the Dilophosaurus by fighting and killing it (even when I knocked it unconscious I killed it as I gave that thing’s sorry flank no mercy). She did get a bit startled by the commotion of the fight and ran away, but because I ran in the opposite direction while fighting the Dilophosaurus, she quickly lost sight of us just as quickly as she had obtained it. Mesopithicus can flee without her pack in pack mesopithicus is passive but herting them they attack with her pack

One of the best early and even mid to late game shoulder pets. I was atacking a tickle chinken from a rock then it somehow got on the rock with me. It pushed me off and destroyed all my armour then by monke started trowing crap at him and i survived. They need a tlc where if you give the poop in theyr iventory they trow it faster until they run out and start using they own and if you give them larger poop then they should throw it slower in a smaller range but it deals more slowness and to smaller creatures like a dilo it could stun it

Only thing you need you know is do not knock it out like me😂

If you want to tame a mesopithecus you need to sneak behind it and to berries without scaring it by getting to close

It like a mini sniper on your shoulder

Sneak up to it when you see it pull out any kibble

or anything else that I would eat and then tame it passively

It’s a poo sling shot and good for pvp
