Only 50 percent of the weight on your meso will be transferred onto you so only carry your food, armour, water, weapons and ammo and and then put the other none essential gear on your meso and it won't weigh as much.

If you're in an area where they spawn and are having trouble locating one, start killing all other dinos in the same area, the game will eventually spawn your desired target.

I normally leave the area for a short time to allow new spawns, once you have killed everything off.

These aren’t fighting monkeys if you tame them, make sure you leave them that face if you’re going on any dangerous events like going in caves, they can’t even battle if you think they can then you’re gonna lose your monkey cause they’re run away and hide from anything and if you ever think they can fight you’re wrong I asked my friend to join me in ark and guess what he said hi monkey and then he heard this attacking sound and he looked behind him and he was like there’s nothing there. Can he look back in front and he was getting attacked by affair with the monkeys, dead body sitting there I mean, my friend he got killed by a huge monkey accidentally taking it for a small monkey I mean, who even thinks gorillas are monkeys. all you need to tame is 1-2 mejoberries and 1 dodo kibble I tamed just now with that. first feed the berry then feed the kibble and you've tamed a monkey

Do not knock them out to tame them I tried and all I got was lost time

These guys sure are tricky! So to tame it have at least 25 Mejoberrys and crouch up to it and it may run away, but it is worth it! PS. It also throws its crap at enemy’s.

How to put nerdry glasses on them I put on a hat but I can’t put em on monke cus the glasses are a skin it is a cloth hat btw.

Best thing to have especially if a Alfa carno and a Alfa raptor (45+60) decide to team up on you. He was pretty smart and went for raptor bc it’s the fastest and then the carno. It was like a auto slow turret.

I had my monkey on my shoulder so it could fling poop at some creatures that I wanted it to kill. I had it target a turtle. After a while, the turtle started running away. About 2 minutes later, it falls to the ground, completely unconscious. So use a monkey for turtle taming, I guess.
