If you want to kill this boss just bring a bunch of mutated rexes and a yutiranus lead the monkey to the spawn there is a drop that kills you and your tames in the arena

You can breed creatures while at Megapithecus boss lair/stage, and since Megapithecus is behind a long corner you creatures can breed them silently and calmly, you can also put creatures inside cryopods but you can’t take them out

How to tame it youse your admin commands or god mode and force tame it if your an admin on a server you can put a word in to tame it it’s and don’t bring any high lvl gigas they can one shot or 2 shot one the gigas will turn

On you sow bring about 560 high lvl rexes

I think this boss is the easiest of the island bosses

The megapithicus is a strong boss in survival mode if your using Gigas then get 5 Giga's and a yuty and you can kill him. If your using rex's then get 19 rex's and 1 yuty Btw if you try to have more then 20 dinosaurs it won't let you fight him.

TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN FALSE INFORMATION!! You can forcetame it in the arena! Use the command teleport after you forcetame it to work!!

Technically i think you can force tame it and you’re not stuck because you can kill it in the dino menu.

I play on official pve and i downed gamma megapithicus solo with 1 stego 20k hp 124 armor saddle (hardened plate buff) 100% imprint and 295% pump shotty 300 shells.

Brought 30 vegi cakes to be shure he only ate 2.
