Just to add my input, megalosaurus is real easy to tame, may take a little while but oviraptor kibble really works. I literally waited days to finally go out to tame one but I crafted 10x the kibble jus in case and only took 3, so I first build at least 8-9 stone pillars in front of the Megalosaurus’s emntrance to keep it from attacking you and tranq it. *MAKE SURE DAY RESETS FO MORNING BEFORE ATTEMPTING TI TAME OR IT WILL WAKE UP AND GO FULL BROLY ON YOUR ARSE* ( up this so ppl actually have a good strategy plan)

Don't fight in a cave I learned that the hard way

For easy tame, use grappling hooks onto a ledge, stay grappled even after you find a good and high ledge so that you can reel down and back up when needed (Never crouch). its easy this way. Have fun

if you get a tame like baryonyx that can outrun and tank it, then lead it out of the cave just at dawn, then it'll get tired out when the sun rises and be rather slow and weak AND be in an easy taming location :D

They can damage wooden structures even though the calculator says it can't. Be sure to use stone or a hill!

Dont try taming it on surface (ragnarok) or atleast get some kibble, you need to make it really fast because they lose all the torpor at night. Mine was 87% tamed and suddenly it destroyed my friends and grabbed me, then it killed our pteras, it was a 145 lvl

The best place to tame these are on Ragnarok in the carnivorous caverns.

I’ve actually found the BEST way to tame them! It requires 2-4 stone dino gates and doors and taming food! Trap them inside and let them munch on the doors until they fall unconscious. They won’t wake up, even when night falls, cuz they are out of stamina! No tranqs or narcotics needed!

Started taming..... She woke up.... She went back to sleep. And she's mine.

This creature is useless at day but at night these things become incredibly dangerous they can be found in caves sleeping during the day

Location: This Sleeping beauty enjoys slumbering in caves often found napping on the Greenland cliffs.

Tame tips: All you need is higher ground preferably not with a direct ramp or clutters of rocks bellow. A handful of tranquilliser darts some narcotics and most importantly an escape route. They wake up quick and will grab most tames including arginatavis in their mouth while you frantically stab the beast to death or knock the bugger out for round two. Good luck survivors

Caution, when it's night, no matter the torpor these dudes wake up. And there out to kick some but.

Bewere megalosaurus are stronger then rexes and spinos the only thing stronger then a megalsaures is a giga what I said doesn’t in clued any fliers or herbivores Dino’s in ark like Weverns who can kill them with there fire don’t tame at night trust me

Tried to tame one left the game and reloaded not even a minute later it woke up killed my ravages and bulb dog

They can spawn almost anywhere. Encountered one with my sister along the Eastern Beach, and I found one asleep in the forest near Carnivore island.
